Finally got my backside into gear last week and put the Digital Radio aerial outside. This now means I can get Magic, City and Merseyside on Digital as well as analogue. Anyway I decided to watch the game on Sly but have the commentary from Radio City on (with "The Saint").
It wasn't until I watched the highlights on Sly Sports that the "Andy Gray factor" cuts in.
The one glaring difference was Reina's tip-over from Drogba. Whereas City had it down as a "fantastic save, a great reaction" Gray reported it as "lucky, very lucky. Reina's was caught out by Konchesky here back in May. Lucky boy."
I appreciate City would be backing us (no doubt if I listened to it on one of the Capital Radio Stations I would have got the opposite perspective), but Gray, as usual, wasn't even impartial.
On Gray got to love that Guardian/Observer piece "It is quite hard to feel patriotic about Chelsea, unless you happen to be Andy Gray". :D
