Some top class whistlers in that crowd.
-
We look devoid of ideas and have done since the restart.
Oh and now getting a class CB in January is a must. And also probably $15M more than it was an hour ago.
-
Same lethargic crap performance that we've had pretty much since the restart outside of a few games.
Going into the season with 1 reliable senior CB was absolute madness. Sure his injury was a freak one, but the other two are constantly hurt anyway. Taki and Origi have been dreadful, BTW. Can we stop calling for Taki to start until he shows ANYTHING?

Upa has been amazing every time I have watched him. He'd be an outstanding signing.
Wouldn't be surprised if Bayern was in for him or if he went to PSG for big money.

Atalanta is a great team going forward. They're a great watch, but they aren't great at the back and their #1 GK is currently injured, not sure how long he's out tho. Very good wingbacks despite selling Castagne to Leicester. Gosens and Hateboer are now Germany and Dutch internationals.
They're probably the best team to watch in Seria A and Pupu Gomez is the fucking man.

Leaving the squad woefully thin. Embarrassing we can't add to a title winning squad.
No depth at CB, no depth at forward. How is that a good idea? It would be a bad idea going into a normal season let alone one even more congested due to covid.

This is quite the spicy thread.

So, what's the consensus?
Obviously we're a little bit strapped for cash, but we can potentially afford 30m.
Do we spend it now and get the fella we want? Or keep hold of it, try to get him on a free and then have that 30m to splash in a year's time, but risk missing out?
I think watching Werner sign for Chelsea should be all we need to see to say if you want your man, go get him.

Why was he called Garrincha?

But for injuries, this lad would’ve been the greatest ever.
Even with crippling injuries, his numbers are ridiculous.
343 club games, 247 goals.
98 international games, 62 goals. Here are some of his Inter highlights.
I’m sure City would’ve tried to buy him. Thanks for posting that. They surely would and he'd be amazing. But he'd also be desperate to come here and we'd monitor and be like he's too old.
Also I can't imagine trying to tackle him. Looks like I'd give up a penalty every single time I went near him.
-
Would be a disaster if he signed for a non-LFC Premier League club.
-
Let's be careful putting Benteke on this list before today's game...

Jack Grealish has had 140 free kicks made against him this season so far (5 yellows given). next on the list is Zaha with 98
It's gonna be a problem if he goes to United, they'll shatter their own record for penalties in a season.
-
Meant Sancho to United, which is even worse than Werner to Chelsea.

Similar to this guy: http://www.emailsfromanasshole.dontevenreply.com/index.php
The Rocked one is very good, as is the weapons and the fridge one.

Well now it'll shape up like this:
Werner - Chelsea (WTF)
Havertz - Bayern
Sancho - Dortmund
-
Quite worrying. 4 straight windows with no big signings when we're viewed as the best team in the world.
Not only are we not signing one of the hottest young striker prospects that's desperate to join us, but we're sitting on our hands as he signs for a league rival. I seriously don't understand.

The mistake and the penalty from Leipzig were Konate, not Upamecano. I think.
