If he shared the positive shite too he wouldn't be such a tool. He posts with glee that we're not replacing Origi and takes its as fact. It's as much of a fact as us announcing Mbappe on Thursday.

That is true. There isn't balance. Just the cherry picking of articles that suit - nothing more than confirmation bias dressed as fact.

The Echo chats shit, until I agree with it - isn't a solid philosophy.

Something like 8k male high school athletes are faster than the fastest woman in the world.

Yep. And again, there is absolutely no chance that the opposite happens and a trans man competes as a man! So many progressive men very quick to dismiss women's arguments and women's opinions.

  3. Do those advocating the 'it's only weightlifting so why are you bothered' think they are doing the transwomen a favour? How does that work again 'oh, it isn't important so I'm not bothered about you competing in nothing sports' - So, when it is a relevant sport do you advocate a different position?

Now that a 42 year old has won Olympic Gold in the 100 metres' I think you need to go back into your box. Yeah, that will work and isn't disrespectful at all.

Did you see him against Turkey the other day?  Scored a couple of belters and could have had another couple.

He was really good when he started with us too, two goals to win the game against the Mancs, scored and assisted a few more, then Klopp just seemed to give up on him.

Even 30 minute cameos would be more than he got last season.

Yep, but the Turks are shit - and probably a bottom of the premier league team. He was good first 3 months - but that is his career in a nutshell, and surely there comes a time when you realise it is him - not the team or manager. Also, his only position seems to be Mo's or in midfield - so you need to change the formation for a player who isn't good enough for that.

Shaq is one of Klopp’s minor failures for me. He’s got quality, can score goals, and could easily have played more last season.

He started well with the club, then Jurgen hasn’t got the best out of him.

I think he is shit. Not sure he is Klopps failure considering he has failed at Munich and Inter as well. He's a sub - 30 minute cameo's here and there and nothing more.

They're trying desperately to force the Sweaties to pull out of the Euro's over the Gilmour positive COVID test! What did they expect? You're running a tournament across a continent whilst a pandemic is ongoing, there were always going to be positive tests!

Over 18 months since COVID broke out, and still clueless!

Not sure that is true at all! They may be wondering how he caught it - despite being in isolation - which is a fair question. But one for the Scottish team to answer.

Maybe  if people are concerned about the pandemic then the focus should be on the thousands of Scottish fans who piled into London despite their being a pandemic!

  7. I think Daisy is a embittered gobshite who is more interested in being right than Liverpool winning.

But, I did read that article and think 'nah - that is bollocks'. I'm not telling them who to sign, if they signed Hlozek I'll be happy with him, but Origi and Shaq 'only' played 5 games each last year because they were shit when they did play. They need replaced - I am happy for Elliot to replace Shaq, but Origi needs to be replaced with either a similar option or a project. I was told, that they are expecting Gordon to push next year - but we'll have to see about that.

French players are playing in England, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Very few English players go abroad. The two in Germany Southgate seems to have no intention of playing. Trippier went to play in Spain and has improved immeasurably.

English footballers stay in their comfort zone and get babysat by foreigners in the Premier League.

Same goes for the managers. Allardyce moaning about him and his LMA gimp gang not getting top jobs. Well, why not fuck off abroad and work your way up. Learn something about the game.

It's why, despite the fact he's a bit of a tit, I've got respect for McClaren. He went to Holland and won a title. Who was the last English manager to win a title before him? Robson?

Great point and agree totally. I think as a young player you'd improve going to Ajax or PSV but you'd get twice as much wages playing for Brighton.

As usual - we don't think any further ahead than a few years.

  9. The problem with Williams is that Trent is 21. He ain't going anywhere for 10 years.

It is a bit of a pisser about Hoever - as I think he would have been ideal last season and would play and offer cover for a few positions. We went with Neko and he now wants off.

Some fans writing off Neco at this point is fucking nuts. Expecting a young lad to come in once every few months and just turn it on is crazy. Many experienced pros find it hard with no rhythm to perform. He may not prove good enough but judging a lad just turned 20 on the back of 4 or 5 starts is absolute bollocks. If we weren't desperate to find cash for transfers yiu loan the lad out. But the penny pinching means you sell

True. But the reports (which we are all basing this on) were clear it is his decision. We won't loan him though. May as well swap him for Boyle i guess.

sorry not following you here you saying there no need to replace gini as we got curtis?

No, there is no need to replace Gini because that's Thiago. There is no need to bring another midfielder in as we have Curtis Jones.

It isn't proof to 'moneyball'. Its recognising how good Jones is.

Stop be such a precious twat over this! Jesus, you've no proof he is signing for Chelsea - I've no proof he is signing for United, or not signing for Chelsea.

Me disagreeing isn't a slight on you!

You're ignoring his salary and signing on fee.

All due respect, I think you're way off here.

He's not going to go to France, the Spanish are broke, and Bayern won't touch his fee with a barge pole.

    As for Juve - hahahahahaha

I think you are writing off a lot of scenarios to get him at Chelsea. As they have money it is a genuine possibility- but I think there are a few others as well. I think a lot depends upon Mbappe. But yep, I think that is a fair point on the wages. That is where my point of view is weak.

I think United are more of an option than Chelsea!

  14. 5 minutes ago, m0e said:

There is no fucking way Madrid are paying that. If they can afford it, they're in for Mbappe.

Who else makes up the "loads"?

PSG, United, Barca, Munich, Juventus - at £65m it may be us. I think you will be right if Mbappe is on a free - that would seem to be a given, but if he does sign a new contract with PSG then maybe not. There is a world of difference between £65m and what Mbappe would go for.

I can see Chelsea struggling this year - that will not help them.

  15. 1 minute ago, m0e said:

    That's what you say.

I say he's off to Chelsea.

And more importantly, he's definitely not off City if Kane ends up there.

I agree with the second bit. Although they could afford both - I just think the £65m is there to attract the big clubs. And I can see Madrid forking that much for him.

I seen it rumoured Chelsea are prepared to pay 154 million for Halaand this year. Probably a jarg rumour but you can believe it when it comes to that fucking gangsters club. The Russian treats buying players like top Trumps.

I can! That is how I can see him ending up at Chelsea - but I hope that there is a plan for Haaland that doesn't include leaving this year.
