Some corkers here. I knew about 70 being the start of Germany always beating England, but I never realised that they beat them in 73 as well. 

Thinking this morning - one of the last games I saw with my Grandad was the Semi in 1988 between Germany and Holland - Van Basten's last minute goal sending the Dutch through. If Germany win, that is still possible.

Yep. 96 was a great game - but I can't stand all that shit. Tedious as fuck - I love Germany as a country, and really like Germans. Every country has its Nationalists. Every racist supports their national team

That was the team England probably wanted - not sure Hungary were ever considered. Holland and Portugal could still make the final. France may end up fucked if they get to the final - easily the toughest route.

There is only France, Italy and two very average Spanish and German teams missing.

Not sure England will win, but they can certainly win against Germany.
