I can't find any images of it on Google as of yet but over on the equivalent RAWK thread, there's a cracking photo of the Everton and Arsenal merchandise stands at yesterday's Asia Trophy final in Singapore. Everton's looks like a kids play tent next to Arsenal's which is the full corporate marquee. Fuck knows how big the Liverpool stand would have been if we were out there!

Still need a holding midfielder. If we bring in Illarimendi as well as Benteke then I think we have had a very good summer. If we go into the season with Lucas as our main DM we are fucked. 

We don't need no DM, DM are for wimps, we will have wingers for fullbacks, 3 attacking midfielders and 3 strikers.

And Origi will be playing in goal

A lot of people complaining about Benteke but not many are offering up any realistic alternatives, there is a real lack of quality strikers around in world football at the moment that haven't already been bought by Barca,Real or one of the other lucky winners of the oil billionaire lottery.

The only alternative anyone has even mentioned is Lacazette and for all the moaning on here about Ian Ayre and the transfer committee they must have contacted his agent at some point and been told to fuck off.

If Sterling is worth £49m then Benteke is worth at least £32.5m that's the state of the market especially since the improved tv money from last season

What do Origi,Ibe and Ings think they are doing running around and sometimes even sprinting. Lambert and Balotelli need to have a word this just won't do at all

There are no natural leaders in the squad so I assume he is the best that we have at the moment. Maybe now Gerrard has gone he will step up and be more assertive.

I do like the way he always chips away at the referee, always nagging and complaining to them during the game

Last season our big mistakes were not signing a decent striker and then we signed Balotelli,we couldn't put the ball in the back of the net and our season was a waste of time.

If we don't sign a proper striker this season all the other signings will be a waste of time because we still won't be able to put the ball in the back of the net.

Basic recipe for premier league success buy a striker score goals win games, the teams with the best strikers always finish at the top of the league.

So no we haven't rectified our mistakes of last summer(not yet anyway)

Bacca or Rondon for me, once we have a proper striker and start scoring goals again everything else falls into place. We nearly won the league without a defensive midfielder, just stop pissing around and get the ball in the back of the net.

He is young, can only improve, works hard and always puts a shift in and looks to have a bit of attitude about him. Worst case senario we sell him to West Ham in  a couple of years for 5m

Klopp lost his best players to Bayern and had a disaster of a season and flirted with relegation

Rodgers lost his best players to Barca and injury and still managed 6th place

If Klopp keeps Lewandowski he keeps his job at Dortmund and they have a good season

If Rodgers keeps Sturridge fit he finishes in top 4 and keeps his job

Neither Klopp or Rodgers are or will be responsible for transfers at Anfield. FSG and their transfer commitee make the decisions

Both have proved this season that any team is only as good as their strikers, both have played players out of position, tried different tactics and made mistakes out of desperation because once a team stops scoring goals everything else falls apart.

Klopp has more experience than Rodgers but would he be able to transfer it over to another club and country.

If Rodgers doesnt get off to a good start next season the pressure will be immense

I would still take Klopp because he would be a better fit with our club and fans
