  1. Transcendental perspectivism is a hybrid philosophy developed by German-born philosopher, Professor Werner Krieglstein. A blending of Friedrich Nietzsche's Perspectivism and the utopian ideals of the Transcendentalism movement, Transcendental Perspectivism challenges Nietzsche's claim that there is no absolute truths while fully accepting his observation that all truth can only be known in the context of ones perception. This is accomplished through an appreciation of the emotional relationship between two perceptions (the "perceiver" and the "other").

  2. We're better swimmers though, so it all evens out in the end. Suppose we're owed a few hundred years of oppression to call it even.

you're from the west midlands so i doubt you or your ilk are better at anything.

except of course purveyors of the worst accent in the world and world champions at sounding like 'dozey cunts'

  3. Perhaps it's me who should be asking for permission, I was under the impression that when someone posted something you could post in reply agreeing or disagreeing. I was clearly wrong.

    Apologies.

    apology accepted ..... carry on

  4. Bit of a left-field suggestion, but how about seeing if we could loan him out for a season? AC, Bayern, Barca might all stump up £5m or so for a season loan, then he's got a chance to win trophies and we might get to keep him next season.

Leftfield are a British duo of electronica artists and record producers, namely Paul Daley (formerly of The Rivals, A Man Called Adam and the Brand New Heavies) and Neil Barnes, who formed in 1990 in London, England. The name Leftfield was originally used simply by Barnes for its first single, "Not Forgotten", but after this, Daley was involved first in remixing songs and then in the creation of music. The pair were pioneers in the fields of intelligent dance music and progressive house, being among the first to fuse house music with dub and reggae.[citation needed] They were among the first electronic musicians to incorporate live guest vocalists, along with The Chemical Brothers and Underworld. Ultimately the duo have been influential on the electronic genre as a whole, with The Crystal Method's Scott Kirkland referring to them in 2005 as "the best electronic band, period!"

  8. ROY HODGSON is pondering a move for former Liverpool striker Peter Crouch.

The Reds manager is eager to add a target man to his squad and is believed to view Crouch as the ideal candidate.

Hodgson, who has spoken of his desire to bring experienced English players to Liverpool, is a confirmed admirer of the England striker having failed in a bid to bring him to Craven Cottage as Fulham manager last summer.

It is believed the Tottenham Hotspur player would welcome a return to Anfield, where he scored 40 goals in three successful seasons, despite Spurs having secured Champions League football for the next campaign.

The 29-year-old, who was sold to Portsmouth for £11m in 2008 after slipping down the pecking order following the arrivals of Fernando Torres and Andriy Voronin, would be available for around £6m.

Meanwhile, Dirk Kuyt has given Hodgson – who spent yesterday in Llandudno, North Wales – some good news by declaring his wish to stay.

“Of course I want to stay,” said the 26-year-old. “Liverpool is a great club with a great history.

“Unfortunately in my four years I haven’t won anything but hopefully in the future, I will still have that chance.

“We will have to see what happens but hopefully the manager wants me to stay.”

  9. Spanish hitman days from signing for Blues.

Chelsea are very close to signing Liverpool striker Fernando Torres.

The recent signing of Yossi Benayoun was signposted almost two months ago here on Chelsea-Mad.

At that time we also stated that Double-winners Chelsea were keen to land the Spanish hitman.

However summer holidays for Chelsea’s top brass and Torre’s involvement in the World Cup meant that formal talks were delayed.

But thankfully Chelsea’s footballing board have got their act together and talks with Torres’s agent are at an advanced but delicate stage.

Chelsea have to be careful not to play hard-ball with Torres as he is also keen to hear what Barcelona are offering.

Chelsea are clear domestic favourites as they can offer Torres Champions League football and a wage packet second only to Manchester City.

However Torres is keen to move to London which puts the Londoners in pole position.

Chelsea see Torres, 26 as the ideal foil for Didier Drogba as the Blues seek to land Europe’s top trophy for the first time next season.

The move is also a shrewd footballing one as it will enable Chelsea to gradually ease Nicolas Anelka out of the picture in a season’s time.Chelsea’s medical team have advised the Chelsea football board that they will ensure a through medical check is made of Torres and a bespoke training regime developed for a player seemingly prone to injury.

Chelsea are confident that there will not be a major doubt over his long-term fitness and as such have convinced Roman Abramovich that a final bid close to £70million will be enough to prise Torres from Anfield.

Torres will take an extended holiday after this weekend’s World Cup final matches.

Chelsea want to have an agreement in place by Wednessday of next week but sources within the club have told Chelsea-Mad that it could take two more weeks to solve all outstanding issues.

Poorly written, can't use apostrophes, Barcelona are out of the running for Torres. Waste of time article written by some chav.

    what gary mac said

    absolute bollox

  10. Have you prepared yourself for Villa to score but Holland to win 2-1?

Or with Sneijder to score and be top scorer but Spain to win 3-2 say?

The amount of times i've been bummed when its looked like i've been quid's in leads me to prepare you for the worst rather than the best there mate.

But good luck all the same

yes i have prepared myself for the first scenario - finished building the gallows last night

I have sneijdeer £30 E/W - straight bet (not a double with a holland win) - so should be ok with that

makes the match a bit more interesting and just considering a few 'savers'

thanks for the good luck wishes
