  1. The "have to" is worrying.

I wonder if we have as much money as many of us assumed we had?[/quote.

Don't think so mate, doubt he would blow money on henderson knowing we need other players in more pressing positions, its a bit slow but I recon there's going to be some suprises

  2. Regrettably I am now having to reconsider my view that we will win the title next season, if Villa Boas joins Chelsea then they will win it in a Canter

The only saving grace is the coach being undermined by the owner.

Not great news for the rest of the PL

Not a chance its going to be that easy, just because he was dick heads right hand man does not mean he will do the same as him, overhyped comes to mind.Im not saying he is nt a good manager but i would say he is unproven at the very top level, europa cup is not a benchmark for his for future sucsess

  3. I'll start getting worried if he signs for the Mancs.

So am i so much people on here saying they were skint and finished, were shopping at topman again there are shopping at harrods doesnt look good

  4. For me that is the whole situation we are currently in.

Ian Ayre will have been given a certain amount of time to get a company willing to sponsor the 'new' stadium for a pre-determined amount.

If he achieves this then i would imagine FSG unlike the previous owners would start work asap.

If he doesn't then they will go down the re-development route.

I want to know how people think that no one wants to sponsor our new stadium, how would they know only people that would are in the club.I trust fsg to get the right sponsor and to build a new stadium

  5. Martin Kelly should be in the first team at right back next season. Johnson either has to be content with left back, force his way in on the right side of midfield or leave in my opinion.

Back to the centre back discussion... I havent a clue what Kenny's plans are but I'm pretty sure Agger will go and Skrtel wont last much longer.

Id love to see johnson at right midfeild, carnt understand why he doesnt like playing there .Might be kennys plan to get him to play there

  6. Not really. Scores less, less natural talent, not as good a dribbler, not quite as injured and probably cares a bit more.

Best crosser in the prem, and ideal to feed carrol good all rounder, him on left and tricky pacey winger on right only at right price though

  7. Who the fucks colin wanker cause im racking my tiny brain ,or and have you seen sky calling it survival sunday for fucks sake im gunna spew,if it wasnt for digital been shit id cancel the cunts

  8. While I would never want us to not qualify for European competition, I have so many misgivings about the Europa League (see my blog for what I would do about it) and how it would affect team preparations on a weekly basis. If you play in the Champions League you will have a game on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, followed by your league game, usually on a Saturday. In the Europa League, you play on Thursday nights so your league game has to be played the following Sunday (or Monday even).

The problem I have here is not the lack of time between matches, because as you can see from the above example, there is no difference. No, the problem is that by always playing on the Sunday you are playing catch-up with those teams around you, or at least those whom you deem to be your direct competitors. They will usually have played before you and may well have bagged 3 points. It creates an added pressure that doesn't sync with a side in development (which we are). I'm not suggesting our management team and players - both current and future - cannot handle this unique pressure, but I feel it's not something they need at this moment in time.

The other, crucial point to me is that Kenny & his assistants also have to spend the week preparing with a different squad & team for a different type of game. By the time they get back to Liverpool Friday is practically a write-off leaving Saturday as the only proper preparation day for the Premier League game.

And being not in ,i dont think it would impact on our summer transfers because i bet most players see it as a poor mans champions leauge ,so for me im not fussed

  9. Can't see anybody bar Carvalho should have walked.

You can't send people off just because the opposition turn it into a game of

'best man dead' & synchronised card-waving.

Glad Barcelona got through as I think they will stuff the Mancs but there was no way that referee was ever going to let Madrid have a chance of a result.

Think we should all stop counting chickens before they hatch, man u are lucky as fuck and could sneek it ,so lets all just say it in our minds that barca are going to fuck them over tempting fate and all that

  10. Easier to look a good shot stopper when the shots are raining down. One shot and one save is where you earn your keep.

Not dismissing him by any means, but keeping for Schalke and keeping for a top team are two different beasts. There are plenty of good shot stoppers out there, time will tell if he's just another of them.

Richard kingson springs to mind ha ha

  11. I think in terms of those names, some are guess work as always. One thing is for certain, Kenny/Clarke/Comolli have decided that most of our targets are Premiership proven players.

Young, Adam and Enrique all make good sense given their contract situations.

Enrique is a very assured left back. Have been very impressed each time I've see him. I just hope signing him doesn't restrict the development of our very impressive youngsters as he's still relatively young at 25.

I'd be delighted getting rid of Maxi, Cole and Poulsen for Young, Downing and Adam. If I'm being honest, I'd rather not sign Downing and would rather have someone like Hazard or Sanchez.

To win the league or FA cup, those signings will be more than good enough, but I still think we need to sign a powerful young striker as N'gog is not good enough. I'm sure Carroll will be injured for parts of the season.

Id take downing,he,s perfect for the team with carrol in brilliant crosser.Maybe get a direct right winger to compliment the team

  12. Am I the only one who thinks that the priority should be to deny Manure the 19th. Come on fellas there's very little to play for hence forth except for another meaningless Europa round

They going to get it sooner or later ,we carnt keep liveing in the past our time will come again hopefully.Still hate the cunts though when he go,s you will see a change in power probs be city with there millions

  13. Say what you want about him everyone on here knows deep down he always tryed to do what was best for liverpool fc,he never always got it right but he was and still is a legend .My only regret was never seeing him pick up that prem trophy and showing that scottish cunt we are liverpool and we are back to regain our fucking perch
