  1. If that article is true then it is milan and not aquilani taking the piss. I still maintain that he is miles better than henderson and adam.

Doesnt matter who he is better than, the lad does not want to be here but doesnt want to give up his bonuses.

  2. Where have I said I feel sorry for him?

My point is it has been made plainly clear since the end of his first season that he isn't going to have a future here. He isn't doing an Itandje and sitting on his contract, he is trying to play football. I don't for one second pity the bloke but I don't see how he is a cunt either.

There was a post previous to yours who said they felt sorry for him - so apologies, I must have got that from there.

How do we know he wasn't the one hankering for the loans ? I'm my own opinion, he was quite happy to sign the contract.

You are right, he is not doing an Itanje - but he does seem to be saying he wants a free transfer and to be released from his contract and I wonder what he will do if we refuse, will he then do an Itandje?

Wouldn't it be nice if he takes the view of - I have hardly kicked a ball in anger for you, you paid a lot of money for me and gave me a big salary - therefore, seeing as it hasn't worked out and I want to go, let me buy my contract out.

I really don't think we are dealing with a poor little lamb who really wants to play for Liverpool and those nasty managers don't like him.

Sorry but I just think his request makes him a cunt. You don't have to agree

  3. Exactly. He has came back and it's been clear since his first season that neither Roy or Kenny were going to give him a chance beyond pre season so he has gone out on loan to play football. That isn't his fault. Last summer we signed Adam+Henderson to play CM when Aquilani would have done no worse. Poulsen the summer before. We don't want him, he wants to leave and he wants to play football, and he wants to do that ASAP. How the fuck that makes him a cheeky cunt I don't know.

Sorry-but I don't know how anybody can feel sorry for someone who has been paid an awful lot of money whilst doing ( and now not wanting to do ) the square root of fuck all for the club who are actually giving him the dosh.

He knew that England was outside of Italy when he signed his lucrative contract ( I know we gave him it before you mention it) but it seems to me that he has been hankering to get back to Italy since he came here.

Being the best player in pre season and no indication of your dedication to the club. It would be nice if the overpaid, over privileged bags of horse shit that play football these days actually thought of anyone but themselves.

  4. As much as I hate Whelan and as much a knobhead is was over our Manager's job, Ayre fucking annoys me every time he opens his gob.

Whelan should be ignored but that's never going to happen nowadays when cunts like Sky are always ready to listen ( and to overspin a story )

Ayre has too much to say and should shut up and try to get on with a job that seems way out of his depth

  5. But we're trying to put that system in place aren't we?

or are you suggesting that Guardiola being in the job was irrelevant as they could have had anyone in their and the results would have been the same (which begs the question why do people want him).

Whilst I appreciate that you have to start somewhere, we are not starting this from a position of strength. Kenny got the job first time around while we were top dogs and had some great people behind him.

Barca were there or there abouts in Spain when Pep took over and Barca are one of only two teams in Spain who win the league ( long term)

We have a lot more competition in this country and there are 6 or 7 team who vying for top 4.

I think the Manager is the most important part of the club as it is they who can unify players, fans and a philosophy.

I just get the feeling we are going for RM for totally the wrong reasons

  6. Think we're bad, Barcelona have appointed 2 managers in a row with a 0% win ratio in the top flight. Haha jokes on them...

This argument annoys me. You cannot compere the positions of Barca then and LFC now. They were still able to attract players and Managers whereas we ( I feel ) are going down this route cos RM will work with fuck all and just be happy to be here.

They already had a system in place whereas we do not, they have a massive stadium, we do not.

  7. Kenny was my choice - and still is. he should have been given the time to see the plan through to success. In my eyes he was putting things in place to ensure the success of the plan and has been removed for none football reasons (Suarez case).

It's US (as a club) making the same mistake that was made with Benitez. The same mistake that Chelsea made with Mourinho.

But to answer your question, I would set my sights at Klopp, Benitez or AVB. no politics, no baggage, just pure footballing knowledge and ability. Anything else is just smoke and noise!

Totally agree. Martinez etc should not even be considered if we are serious about getting near to where we want to be

  8. I'm surprised more people haven't joined up the link yet. I think we are seeing the fall-out from the Suarez affair and anyone involved has either gone already or will be going. I suggest that may mean Luis himself.

The warning signs came from the Standard Chartered AGM where the Chairman had to face a series of hostile questions from the floor - not on their business performance but on how & why the company was sponsoring a racist organisation like Liverpool. Don't you think that the massively negative publicity we had to suffer would create huge problems between us and our sponsors?

Our brand has been tarnished, Henry & Werner and their other investors would have been taking calls from senior execs asking them what they are doing about it and they have had to take action. So they have dismissed anyone involved.

They can't be seen to be blaming all the dismissals on the damage to their brand so they are content for people to assume it's over performance on the pitch.

We will be bringing in a raft of business-and-media friendly people to run the club to repair the damage and put us back on track.

That's my take on it. The f*****g FA, that lying sh*thouse Evra and his piss-soaked manager and all the PC media w*****s have fucked us over good & proper.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread and I agree. I don't think getting rid of Kenny was purely a footballing decision and it fucking stinks of protecting their investment and " the brand". Put it this way, my little lad isn't getting Suarez on the back of the new shirt as I'm sure he's gone next

  9. I notice that the statement mentions " disconnect " in the implementation of the strategy. I wonder if this means that Comolli disagreed with the " strategy" and I wonder what the strategy is.

Could it be a shift from spending to youth ?

  10. After our usual fuck-ups in front of goal during the first 30 mins I didn't really get angry with our display today. I've given up the league for this season, and when Newcastle got their goal after horrible defending I just knew what kind of day this would be. The players thought the same and was shit all throughout 2nd half.

    Roll on FA cup.

Wont make things any better even if we win it

  11. Something is rotten within our club. The players seem to have little respect for the Manager. I dont mind Kenny not criticising in public as long as he sorts it in private and i'm not sure that is happening as we keep on making the same mistakes.

We are where we are and we will not get any higher without a major overhaul.

FSG happy to show their faces at Wembley but quiet on Stadium and i dont think they will invest much in the Summer.

We all love Kenny and he will always be a hero of mine for what he has done for this club and the city. I never wanted that tarnished, which i fear will now happen.

The league has always been our "bread and butter " and whilst cup runs are nice, they were always icing on the cake.

Given the league performances and also the teams we have been beaten by, i cant say that we have progressed.

Whilst the answer is not the throw money at this long term, we will stay exactly where we are unless FSG invest
