  1. I grew up with Michael, his parents still live on my street. Still speak to him occassionally when hes home, really genuine nice bloke, think its a shame that it never happened for him in the premier league. He's not one of these players whose happy to just pick up his wages and go home, he wants to play, hopefully this loan move will put him in the shop window for summer.

  2. Did a solid job at RB yeesterday, did a class simple pass to Spearing for his effort in the second half. Don't understand why everyone is ousting him... Not like we have any better options is it? I think we need to focus on what we've got at the club and not what we "need" or may get in the summer.

  3. Darby has to realise he won't make it now, he is 22 and gets no way near the first team, hopefully this will be a shop window for him. As for Tom Ince, hopefully this will be a good move for him and will toughen him up, there is no doubting the lads ability, but looks light weight at the moment.

  4. Soto and Skrtel have formed a fairly solid partnership in the last 2/3 weeks. Skrtel looks to be playing his best football alongside the big Greek. Kyriakos isn't the quickest or mobile, however he makes up for it with great positioning sense, a solid header of the ball and his ability to make last ditch challenges, if and when needed. He is cool and calm on the ball and the great thing is, the fans love him, everyone is behind him. Long may Soto's great vein of form continue.

  5. If i was Torres....

    Hmmm.

I'd realise how lucky i am to be employed by one of the worlds greatest clubs. I'd be seriously annoyed that as a team, we'd had a shocker this season - and i'd vow to fix it. I'd make sure every player i sat across the dressing room from realised that - as much as the ownership created a distraction, we, the players, had let the club and the fans down massively by the endless lacklustre performances throughout the season. I'd double my efforts in training and i'd be the first to let my feelings known to any team-mate who i felt wasn't pulling their weight, because this is Liverpool Football Club - and anything less than 100% should not be tolerated.

I'd then give everything i've got to ensure this calamity of a season was merely a blip, and return this once great champion, to its rightful place at the crest of English Football.

The thing is - i genuinely believe Fernando Torres isn't that different to me.

Its the other players i have doubts about

You've watched any given sunday too many times... now is a time for mourning... save the speeches come July when the Europa Cup campaign kicks off.

  6. Most enjoyable game of a bleak old season tonight. I feel a bit euphoric.

Not quite, the derby at home was immense, not enjoyable throughout the 90, but immense and most certainly enjoyable afterwards!

  7. a little off the point, didn't want to make a new thread as it seemed pointless so thought i'd put it here to just show how amazing some liverpool fans are. I stumbled across this in my favourites before whilst cleaning up my internet browser, amazing video and has just made me cry. My God i love Liverpool.

sorry about the lack of a video on here, not sure how to do it, here is the link though.

P.S sorry about the gorilla excuse of a human being Richard Keys at the start of the video.

  8. The same fans that will be loving Rafa if he ever delivers the title it'll be "ahhhhh mate, i love Rafa, always have mate, hes boss!" Players need to buck up, get on with the job, last night was a dismal display of football, not a lot Rafa can do besides put a pair of boots on and go and get stuck in.
