@bbcsport_david David Ornstein
Lille tell me NO inquiries for Hazard - he's NOT leaving. Talk of Liverpool having 1st refusal on him is nonsense #bbcfootball #afc #lfc
@bbcsport_david David Ornstein
Suggestions Joe Cole will commute to Lille from London also untrue - he's in the process of looking for a house/apartment #bbcfootball #lfc

From BBC Sport :
Dexter from Chester via text: "My girlfriend has just txt me and she seems to think James Milner has signed for Liverpool. She knows absolutely nothing about football and I have no idea what her sources are but interesting nonetheless."

Yeah, like i said - it was an automatic activation. I think it was 20 games.
Not good enough but a good pro and can be a help to the young lads. I'd much rather a player like this is here for another year than the likes of Degen, Jovo, Cole, Poulsen, Konchesky etc - who offer absolutely nothing. Playing or otherwise. Fucking wage thieves.
Thanks Banjo

Sadly tho Lance - i can't imagine teams are queuing up for Agger, given his injury problems.
The Greek isn't good enough - but he's a back up only, and if it wasn't for the automatic activation of a 12 month extension - he wouldn't be here. But he is - and hopefully he'll be behind Kelly in the pecking order.
Wasnt he he given 12 month extension because he'd played the required number of games in a clause in his contract or something?
Anyone know how many games it was?

He might join Arsenal, but who knows what he's looking for? Is he looking for this season in the Champions League (which he could get at Valencia)? Is he looking at Arsenal knowing that Febregas and Nasri are pissing off and thinking 'who will do best over my 5/6 year contract'?
Liverpool is, without a doubt, the best supported foreign team in Spain. Our situation is well known. It's known why we're temporarily out of Europe, it's known that we've got new owners, it's known that they're spending money and investing in the future. I wouldn't say it's clear cut, based solely on the Champions League.
The Daily Fail are saying Spurs are in for him too. Shit source i know

Part of a Dutch football stadium under renovation in the city of Enschede has collapsed, trapping an unknown number of people under the rubble.
World Football - Dutch stadium collapses
"Part of the roof has collapsed. There are people under the rubble. We don't know how many," a Dutch police spokesman said after the incident at the Dutch top flight club.
The spokesman could not comment on whether anyone was killed or injured. The roof's partial collapse probably was related to construction work at the stadium, he added.
A large number of police, fire brigade and ambulances are heading to or have arrived at the scene, news agency ANP reported.

Daily post saying Ngog not part of the deal:
JORDAN HENDERSON will complete his big money move to Liverpool today to become manager Kenny Dalglish’s first signing of the summer. The 20-year-old underwent a medical and thrashed out the personal terms at the club’s training base Melwood yesterday.
Liverpool agreed a £16m fee with Sunderland on Tuesday night before the England under-21 international travelled to Merseyside to rubber stamp the deal. But paperwork at the FA and Premier League prevented the deal from being completed last night.
Striker David Ngog was not directly involved in the transfer despite suggestions the Frenchman would be a £7m makeweight to help meet Sunderland’s £20m valuation of their homegrown talent.
Henderson wore a Liverpool training tracksuit as he was shown round the club’s training facilities by director of football Damien Comolli.

Liverpool.no reporting that it was cancelled due to match fixing allegations in the K-League. Not sure what truth there is in it though:
Scandal in Korean football led to the cancellationLiverpool should really have played against the Korean champions FC Seoul on July 19 as part of the Rode's preseason tour to Asia. Now it emerges that the match was canceled due to a scandal that has rocked the Korean K-League.
By Einar Kvande
The match against FC Seoul was to have ended Liverpool's Asia tour. Anfield club announced for a few days ago that they had to cancel the match because of "exceptional circumstances" . Many have believed that the reason was that the date of the match would create problems for FC Seoul, who has a league match two days earlier and a possible quarter-final in the K-League Cup on 20.juli.
A shop steward at FC Seoul have told The Korea Times that the discussions with Liverpool broke down as a result of match-fixing scandal that shook the K-League.

I always thought we'd sign Jones and Dann so I expect us to still sign Dann.
He used to play sunday league with mates of a mate and they said he's defo coming so we'll see.
Maybe we went for Jones because we heard of his clause and we felt we needed to swoop.
United have got a good player there but onwards and upwards (I hope he breaks his leg)
who would dann "replace" if he does come here?
Agger maybe?
-
I think we'll move for Sakho now, Kenny has watched PSG this season.
But then I also think Arsenal will go all out to get him as they've apparently lost out on Jones. I'd be happy with DAN DAN DAN DAN DAN DAN though.
Back of the net!
Have you seen much of Dann to be fair i havent seen much of him.
You rate him ngog?
Would be nice to have a local lad to take over from carra in a few years.
-
I really wanted Jones but if he wants to go to that shower its his loss.
Who would you have instead of him Walton?
Dann or Cahill or would you go for someone abroad?
-
We were very much interested up to a certain price, but were not interested at 16m
Do you know what this price was RIS ?

Looks like someone is on the weed early today :
