Steady player who's looked tidy for two rounds mate, there will be plenty of interest in him.
I'd look at laying him on betfair if I were you mate.
He has a very good chance of winning it. He's only one shot behind going into the weekend. Hit two sub-70 rounds, and he is looking very calm out there. Good bet there, mate.Cheers lads, fingers well and truly crossed for today.

I got an email from Paddy Power on Wednesday saying I had £3.53 sitting in an account from about 2 years ago. Shoved it on Chad Campbell @ 250-1. Any thoughts on whether he can win from here...stand to collect £886.03!!

just watched this on the sky+ myself. Would def give it a go,very harrowing in places and was a bit of a history lesson for me. Good film.

Really good that, and glad he didn't spoil the ending of The Sopranos..

Not criticising the way he penned it, just more of a warning to anyone who might get disillusioned with it early on. The detail sinks in, and is needed to fully understand the actions and beliefs of some of the characters.
Some proper laugh out moments in that book, very dry sense of humour needed though.
Landsman is quality in it
I've tried a couple of times to get into it but have never got past 30 or so pages..will have to give it another go.

quality thread....can't stand the lot of them, especially and in no particular order, Drury, Tyldsley, Beglin and Bright.
-
Well done lads, let's hope he took on board what you had to say.

I know very little of their music (Deadbeat Descendants on the NME video Carry On Disarming springs to mind), but I love the idea of them and am currently reading Mark E Smith's autobiography, which I know he's in discussions about filming.
Yeah decent read that.
If you like that kind of thing, I've just finished Ian McNabb's book, which is very enjoyable..interesting few pages about Craig Johnston as well !!

I would suggest you start with "458489 " a collection of the mid to late eighties singles.
If you like that then work your way backwards...or forwards. Bend Sinister, Hex Induction Hour, This Nations Saving Grace, Extricate...etc..etc.

no more roadie solos!

If you're feeling folky....
Best band I've heard for a very long time
I'd recommend searching out their stuff. Weird lyrics, brilliant musicianship and a wicked sense of humour.
Check out their new album mate..'The hazzards of Love'..awesome !!

Jocky Wilson, Highland Games, Corby...

First time I've seen most of these lads, Ince looks like he just might have a touch of class about him.

Interesting list and comments. I personally think Dudek should be in there because what he did in Istanbul is so important in the history of the club...also Rushie should be in top 5.

We got out of jail big time. Starting a game with six defenders against that lot! They were there for the mother of all beatings with our strongest team out from the start. Then when the job is done sub the players you think need a rest, simple. Why have them jogging up and down the side line till putting them on late in the game? Can't see that being much of a rest. But no I'm not calling Rafa a cunt ,but it was a strange selection today. Onwards and upwards and come on the hammers!!!!
Are you Craig Burley ??
