  1. I agree.

If Im not mistaken, I think we've regularly outspent both manchester united and arsenal more often than not on transfers since about 1996. manchester in particular have tended to make a single headline signing, the player who'll make a difference while we tended to go for quantity over quality.

While I consider we need a stadium capable of holding 60k, manchester will still outstrip us on stadium income alone as their gaffe holds 79k. Even arse will still have more stadium derived income because they can charge more per seat than us plus, have corporate boxes all around the ground.

Any new or redeveloped stadium we have will narrow the difference between other club's income and ours but, it wont eradicate it.

That bit, right there. We are where we are due to trillions of reasons, but that bit hurt us the most. We were there, we were top of the tree, we only needed one or two top bracket signings and we'd have been made for along time. We had the manager, the team, but the wrong owners. We imploded, and we've fallen along way.

I can't blame the new owners for what they're doing, I blame everything that went on from 2005 until FSG came in.

We're reaping the seeds we sowed.

  2. As the general director Sergei Palkin Shakhtar Donetsk in an interview Football, the club received a formal offer from Borussia Dortmund on a transfer of Henrik Mkhitaryan. Germans are willing to pay for the Armenian legion of $ 30 million, while the miner wants to EUR 30 million in one payment, and no less .

"The fact that Borussia started off contact with the miners - it's true. Unfortunately, I do not know what is now Mkhitaryan, because he has contacts only with an agent who has the vision of all issues," - said Palkin.

"Yes, Borussia had sent a proposal for $ 30 million. Yesterday I wrote an official letter to the agent Mkhitaryan with the position of the club, which is what we are willing to sell Mkhitaryan for 30 million euros. This offer is valid for 10 days. 30000000 one delivery. If there is a club that can pay that amount, we are ready to make a deal. "

  3. English "Liverpool" and Donetsk "Shakhtar" agreed to transfer midfielder "miners" and the Armenian team Henrik Mkhitaryan.

As reported by one of the sources of the club, the deal between the clubs will be issued in the near future, and the amount of compensation for the player will be, as previously reported, 20 million pounds.

This season, the 24-year-old Mkhitaryan held in the "Miners' 44 matches and scored 32 goals. Also note that the FDA Henry scored 25 goals and became the best scorer of the championship of Ukraine, which was an absolute record for this championship.

    A deal for Luis Suárez

MARCA already reported a few days ago that there had been contact between Luis Suárez and Real Madrid. MARCA can now confirm that a deal to sign the Uruguayan has been struck between both parties.

The deal is nothing new. It was reached some weeks ago. On one hand, there were the player's agents led by Pere Guardiola, Pep's brother and on the other, Florentino Pérez's envoys in these matters, the Money men. It's a done deal.

As far as MARCA knows, the deal - which we must clarify, has not been finalised - would be for four years and would include a significant pay-rise for the player, as per the position he would play in, that of a Real Madrid centre-forward.

Luis Suárez's contract contains a £40m - just under €47m - buy-out clause. A price that the Reds are not prepared to lower.

In other words, that is what it is going to cost Real Madrid if it wants to sign 'Lucho' Suárez. Nobody expects Liverpool to lower its asking price by even one euro, because the English side does not want to part with its player.

Obviously, Suárez wants to play in the Spanish league. Aside from his footballing reasons, he is not having an easy time in the Premier League. He is currently serving a six-match ban following his latest controversy with Ivanovic.

  5. Liverpool Hope to Make Ajax Star Third Anfield Summer Signing as Christian Eriksen Issues ‘Come and Get Me’ Plea to Anfield Side

Anfield target makes it clear he would be interested in a summer move to join Liverpool.

Long term Liverpool target Christian Eriksen has made it abundantly clear he would be happy to join Liverpool this summer.

The Ajax starlet has long been linked with a move to Anfield but recent reports suggested that a move to join Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund was more likely, however comments made during an interview with a Danish publication suggests the 21 year old is very much interested in a possible summer move to Merseyside.

“I have read the stories and Liverpool is definitely an option,” said Eriksen to Sporten.

“It is also one of the clubs that is held in higher prestige than Amsterdam, as it’s a different league and of a different calibre. It sounds very exciting, but we will have to look at if there is actually something in it.

“I don’t know if there is anything concrete in the rumours, though I have talked to Daniel [Agger] about them.”

Eriksen has helped his Amsterdam side to a third successive Eredivisie title, finishing the season with a massive 13 assists and ten goals to his name in domestic league action alone.

The Danish international is expected to leave Ajax this summer and Brendan Rodgers will hope to make the talented playmaker what would be the club’s third signing of the summer with deals already in place to sign Kolo Toure and Iago Aspas.

Rodgers may see Eriksen as a potential long term replacement for skipper Steven Gerrard though the England veteran’s form in 2012/13 would perhaps suggest that the one club man still has a great deal to offer Liverpool for the next few seasons.

  6. Christain Atsu confirms he wants to leave Porto to chase English dream

Ghana winger Christian Atsu has confirmed he is ready to ditch FC Porto to chase his dream of playing in the English Premier League.

The 21-year-old is a wanted man by several European clubs including Tottenham Hotspurs and Liverpool.

The Merseyside have made an official bid to sign the Ghana international and it appears they will land their man as the skillful winger confirms he wants to leave Porto.

Atsu has just one year left on his existing deal with the Portuguese champions – meaning Porto will be risking losing him for absolutely nothing if they don’t sell him until the end of next season.

But Atsu’s has already made up his mind to quit the Dragao in fulfillment of his childhood ambition of playing in the Premier League.

“I have one more year contract with FC Porto but as a child I always dream to play at the highest level especially in England,” he told reporters at the Ghana camp on Wednesday.

“I love to play there (England) so when I have the opportunity to play in England for sure I would like to move.”

Atsu’s confirmation settles the debate of where he wants to play his football next season.

All that is left now is for Porto to reach an agreement with the interested clubs for a move to materialize.
