  1. I was working in a hotel in Dublin around 20 years ago. Started my shift in the bar, and I could see she was stood in the corner chatting to someone. Dressed as a priest, pint of Guinness in one hand, cigarette in the other.

    Fascinating woman.

Girl who used work with me her husband had a  bad headache all day. Then he woke in night and was vomiting. Eventually he got in bed she wanted call an ambulance he said no he'd sleep it off. She won that row. Three hours later they were operating on him as he had an aneurysm about to burst. Had he gone back sleep he wouldn't have made it. Mad to think the seemingly small decisions that change things

I have heard so many stories about these kind of things and often non impact too. My Daughter's best friend at Junior School's Mum passed away suddenly when she was only about 38 from an aneurism that came out of nowhere other than a headache 24 hours before she died. She was a nice lady. I used to speak to her while we were waiting to pick up our daughters from the school each day and then she was gone. The daughter went off the rails and it affected her deeply. The lady had a young kid of about 2 or 3 at the time.

My manager from a few years ago complained of headaches for a couple of weeks before she was admitted to hospital. Passed away in her early thirties. Aneurism.
    Amazing woman.

    That’s what I was thinking.

Had a look at the news story - the pictures and money started when she was 17.

Is that defo correct about requesting explicit pics from under 18s?

    Asking for a friend?

I followed a non league team home and away for a couple of years when I jibbed my ST after Hodgson. Had some great times on those days out. I'd recommend it

I adopted Cheltenham Town from League 2 during the Hodgson years. League 1 now!

The internet makes the proliferation of absolute dog shit that much simpler, and far too many people are simply unable to distinguish between fact and fiction. Turns out that humanity wasn’t ready to have limitless information at its fingertips, and probably never will. I’ve seen nothing to suggest that it won’t get much, much worse from here.

Imagine telling someone in 1993 that, in 30 years time, David Icke would be more influential than ever.

Remember when he went on Wogan? We did laugh!

Pretty similar experience. The anxiety or the thoughts are still there but they don't bother me as much, if that makes sense. Really good for the gym though, seem to be able to push a bit more than I used to. No mean feat when in my late 40s and lazy as fuck.

Glad it's working out for you! Reading the reviews online helped me choose a decent supply, lots out there.

Anyone tried Ashwagandha as a supplement?

I've just picked it up as a training supplement because some small scale studies have shown that it can increase strength over a 12-week plan. But there's also some indication that it can reduce stress, increase sleep and perhaps increase levels of serotonin too. No idea if it's a placebo or if just getting a good night's rest can help with anxiety but I'm willing to be a guinea pig.

How did this go for you, mate? I've taken Ashwagandha for a few years now, not every day, maybe 3 times a week. Found it helpful with stress, anxiety, and sleep.

I remember the original vox pop, the arl fella went to go on to give credit to the Tories that there was a food bank in the town, saying that hadn’t been there under Labour. (Insert wall-butting emoji)

He seems a lovely bloke, and I loved him as a player, but - I know this is potentially sacriligious, but - isn't all the celebratory stuff going just a tad too far? Fan You Tube channels are doing specially-made multiple farewell videos on him, the offal site has done a farewell video and a best of video, and now the offal site has released part one - part ONE!! - of a special video for him. He wasn't Kenny. He wasn't Ian Rush. He wasn't Keegan or Roger Hunt. Or Billy Liddell. A tremendous player for us, but come on, how long is this going on? Some of those oozing reverence now were moaning about him when he was here!

He may not be Kenny, or any of the legends you mentioned. Klopp said that Bobby was the heart and soul of the team, and the way we played in the last few years was only possible because of him. A stylish player deserves a stylish send off, IMO.

We got sorted for accommodation in University area in Istanbul, from a group of lads we met on the way over, in Prague. Bizarrely, one of these lads was a Utd fan. It takes all sorts I suppose...
