Butland is far from average but I agree he would cost more than he is worth.

I think Klopp has taken the decision to play Can, Firmino and Moreno regardless of dips in form. I guess we will know one way or the other if they are up to the job by the end of the season. Allen, Enrique and Benteke proably have no long term future here so I can see the merits.
It seems very much like Pochettino last season at Spurs. Where he worked with pretty much what he inherited and this season found the right tweaks. A lot want to see the whole squad binned. I think people will be disappointed but if we had 3-4 quality ie a gk with personality and commanding, a centre-back that reads the game well. A boss cm and some pace ie a clone of sterling it would make some of the average look good and the good look very good.

Is Ayre in charge of negotiating deals or do FSG decide?
Someone there needs to spend 30 seconds on Wikipedia and spot that Douglas Costa, their last big player, sold for £30m.
Any bid below that is just a waste of everyone's time.
Costa sold for 30 million euros and we've offered 32 for Teixeira, so I don't think you can criticize Ayre for our opening offer.

I'm really worried about how slow Can is.
Not saying all players need to be Linford Christie, but at times he looks like he is running in treacle.

I got bored about half way through the West Ham game in September and switched off. I didn't watch another live game for the rest of the season.

But fucked off that city have a clear run at Patrick Roberts. Has huge potential.
He's a good player but we have Ojo Kent Wilson Canos and Ibe who play in the same position and Roberts is not much better than any of them.
