  1. The point is he has just come back from 6 months out and his bollocks nearly dropped off Mongberg.

    Thanks, iceprick :whistle:

    He played 15 minutes or so on Wednesday against Brighton. It would make sense to let him play slightly more Yesterday, maybe 25 minutes. At some point he will have to start a game, and there's a big leap from playing a 10 minute cameo and the full 90 minutes. That's all.

  2. Very happy that we got 3 points in the end, but I'm not happy at all with the 2nd half.

    Kenny is a legend, but his decisionmaking from the sidelines seems a bit off at times. We NEED to make substitutes earlier! Everyone could see that we struggled greatly at around 60 minutes, and that's when Gerrard and Kuyt was needed. In almost every game this season I've felt that substitutes should have been made earlier to make a real impact on the game. Why must we wait until 75 minutes to make a substitution?

    Henderson -> Gerrard

    Adam -> Spearing

    Carroll -> Kuyt

    Those substitutes, around 60-70 minutes, would have made much more sense in terms of keeping a solid grip on the game. Our midfield was non-existent at times, and we invited way too much pressure on ourselves.

    What is the point in letting Gerrard play 10 minutes, by the way? If he's on the bench, he should be 100% fit. If Kenny intends to let him start against Everton next week, he should have gotten at least half an hour today.

    Anyway, that's the end of this rant.

  3. Aguero.

    *stamps foot and folds arms*

    I just can't see it happening. Seems like a big-money transfer that reeks of Chelsea. I can see Abramovich buying him and dictating that him and Torres will start every game.

    Would love to see Baines playing for us, but I can just can't see that happening either. Everyone would love to see Aguero, Baines, Coentrao, Hazard, Alexis Sanchez etc coming over, but we need to be realistic here.

    We've got so many positions that needs strengthening. My guess is that we end up with Downing, Adam, P. Jones, Friedel, Enrique. And Mata as our marquee signing this summer. I've got a hunch about Mata, so much that I've put 50£ on it happening on Unibet :whistle:

    I'm a huge red. The other guys aren't that into football but they like Liverpool a bit. Good thing there's no mancs in the band (6)

    Anyways, we recorded 4 demos 2 weeks back. First time we've been in a studio. We're relatively new in the scene, and are just starting to get out and play in the city. aged 21, 22, 22 and 25.

    Feel free to comment. I don't expect ya to go easy on us :whistle: The GF seems like a rough crowd :lol:

  5. That was fucking painful..

    We can still go through tho.. it would have been scary to go down there with a 1-0 lead anyways, with us probably sitting back for 90 mins.

    how Terry and Carvalho stayed on the pitch is a FUCKING MYSTERY, btw.

    Carvalho for that pathetic punch in the head of Torres, and Terry for his elbow (on who was it?) and the tackle of Mascherano 1 minute later.

    The refs were pathetic, a lot was wrong both ways.

  6. I'm not aware of a fourth one. Torres maybe when he exchanged passes with Gerrard and was challenged? I thought it was a fair challenge at the time, I never even considered it as a penalty appeal. Is that the one people are on about, or was there one I missed?

    People may go on about the Gerrard-situations, but the Torres one is where the ref blatantly fucked up.

    After seeing the replay several times: horrible refereeing.

    Torres gets the touch on the ball, before the tackle, and would probably have scored if it wasn't for the tackle that brought him down.

    The ref had clearly decided not to give any dodgy pens tho :whistle:

  7. HYYPIA, TORRES, GERRARD AND BABEL, YOU FUCKING BEAUTIES!!!!

    HOW FUCKING GOOD DOES IT FEEL TO KNOCK THOSE ARROGANT ARSENAL-CUNTS OUT??

    TAKE THAT, PAEDO WENGER, AND THE PAEDO NEXT TO HIM WITH THE GLASSES..

    AAAAAAH!!!! YEEEEEESSS!!!

  8. He's been very inconsistent -at times he can play fantastic balls like the one to Voronin on saturday, and he had some very good passes in the derby too. Brazilian-style passes :whistle:

    at other times you'll get shit 5-yard passes that goes to the other team..

    But I guess that's the deal with young players like him, they need time to mature before they perform on a permanently high level. Lucas is a big talent, and I think he'll improve much next season.

  9. I thought that maybe Spearing, Nemeth and Insua was the players who would get time in a match like this. Maybe one or two on the bench. So I was really surprised to hear that Plessis would start the game!

    That Rafa is a clever one! ;)

    How well did Plessis play in his debut, away, to Arsenal, with Lucas and not Gerrard/Alonso/Masch with him. Impressive. The lad has some Alonso-esque coolness on the ball, and he took some Alonso-esque turns to get away from players today too..

    Seems like he has great potential, and I hope we'll see Plessis, Insua, Nemeth and Spearing getting gradually more first-team football next season. One thing more - like others have said, I really hope we don't use money for a central midfielder this summer. If Alonso was to go, let Spearing and Plessis be 4th/5th choice and spend money elsewhere.. Please?? :whistle:

  10. Xabi might not be a match-winner like Gerrard and Torres, but it is obvious that we play MUCH better with Xabi on the pitch.

    Better-looking football. We have more possession, and our play just flows better.

    IMO, of course :whistle:

    Lucas is a good replacement, but I think we'll miss Xabi's cool head and decision-making tonight.

  11. Not surprised by this at all, Tim Cahill is a total utter cunt. Words can't describe what a dirty cheating snide fucker he is.

    Remember when he had Alonso in a elbow-lock or whatever you call it?

    He can do whatever he wants, and the refs overlook it.

    Wishing injuries upon players is pathetic, but WHY, WHY couldn't Cahill get such a injury instead of Eduardo?

    Rant over.

    I just can't be rational when it comes to that cunt Cahill.

    Shithouse player.
