  1. "and his stats(while great) are not up there with the extreme best Reds"

I know that they like their stats in the US, but could you elaborate on this, because right now I'm pretty dumbfounded by this statement.

Greetings to NJ by the way, worked there a fair bit.

    Greetings as well!!! Where abouts?

Just saying there have been more prolific strikers in goal to game ratio that are not treated with the same respect. At least that is what it seems. I may absolutely be wrong.

  2. I randomly post from time to time to understand the history of LFC from a first person account for years now. I always knew of the supporters respect for Dalglish was incredible, but what is it that made him the KING? I never saw him play, and his stats(while great) are not up there with the extreme best Reds. So what can you tell me about Kenny Mathieson Dalglish so the Yank can REALLY get it?

  3. Joe Frazier used to date a woman from Cape May, New Jersey from time to time. That is where i am from. I met him when i was young in a liquor store, and to this day the thing that struck me was his small stature and HUGE hand when i shook it. Not wrist to finger tip, but the fleshy part. Like shaking a brick.

  4. I'm too drunk and tired... Fuck them all. Lying, puppet cunts the lot of them.

That is the first truely insightful perspective all night. I, as an American, HATE our 2 party system!!!!!!

Now, something we can all take part in and agree, LET'S GO REDS!!!!!!!!!

  5. Not really - just going off his books being quite good and him seeming an intelligent fellow.

I think he is intelligent, but a free speaker he is not. Not everyone can be Tony Blair. Now with that said i thought he(Blair) was an incredible speaker, but you folks from acroos the pond and beyond may have a different story

  6. Plus, you know, Clinton and Obama are pretty intelligent with fairly interesting things to say.

    Clinton, absolutely. 100% agree.

But are you really serious about Obama? Have you heard him when not rehearsed? He may be as bad as Bush, give him 6 more years to make more mistakes.

And how many times do i have to say i don't think she is a good candidate!!!!!??????? Most moderates will agree.:wallbutt:

  7. Clinton and Obama have been president though so the books and tours are fair enough.

    Palin hasnt been yet...

Respect to that point, but she is only the 2nd woman ever that ran for that position(on a serious ticket) and may well again. Again if you know America, the more you are in the spotlight the better, she is campaigning, putting her feelers out. Is that not the way in England?

I hope she doesn't as i said. I like the moderates.

  8. You really think they're a joke? I disagree. Most Republicans I know salivate over the T.E.A. party, and embrace it as part of their WASP'y Christian way of life.

I think President Obama dallied too long on the health care plan and had that complete tool Nancy Pelosi licking his arse at every moment trying to push it through. It stalled all his momentum and now he's left with the prospect of losing the house and senate and seeing his bill delayed forever.

On a side note, is there a bigger attention whore than Palin?

Palin, an attention getter she is. But what politician isn't in a capatalist society. Wait till Obama writes a book, and goes on the speaking circuit ala Clinton. Will you give me that?

As for the Tea Party, look at how many election spots they have actually affected(effected, never really knew the difference). It is tiny, and will be because America has always been a moderate place.

I agree about Pelosi, she is the real cause for the demise of the Dems majority, she is nuts from a truely crazy district.

Aikido, where in Jersey are ya?

  9. He too is a bit of a buffoon, but have you actually ever listened to him, and not just clips? He makes good points at times and backs it up, too bad everyone focuses on how he says it. But with that said he does go reaching at times. But he has actually had people fired from the Obama administration because of what he digs up.

  10. I quoted an American and referred to reliable statistical figures about US views on evolution and on Obama; I don't see how that can really be defined as a foreigner's views. If you google any of the above then you'll see exactly where I get the views from, Hermano.

Quoted an American? Really? That was your argument?

The last i looked Obama was liked personally. But he was never going to do well as President, too much expectation, he is not the one pulling the strings, and he has never run a thing. All he did in the Senate for 4 years was vote along party lines. Historically America likes a president that has actually run something.

    GWB- Guv of Texas

    Clinton- Guv of Arkansas

    Bush- Head of CIA

    Reagan- Guv of California

    Carter- Guv of Georgia

Ford- Doesn't count but was VP

    Nixon- VP to Eisenhower

    Johnson- VP to Kennedy

Kennedy- one of the most overrated presidents ever was a Senator

So now to Palin and O'donnell, they are a disaster. I personally think Palin is an incredible woman taking politics out of it. The best thing for the Democrats in 2012 will be Palin going for the Republican nomination. And do you think the Tea Party is that dangerous? They are a bit of a joke here, ask your American contributor. But the Dems are just as bad, look at Alvin Greene the Dems nominee for South Carolina senate.

And Faith or Atheist, i don't comment on that, as long as they don't push their views on me, that goes both ways.

My whole point, is you have no idea what the true pulse of the people here is unless you are from here, just like i don't get you guys.

  11. I have to know where you guys get your information from. Reading foreigners views on our political landscape cracks me up sometimes.

And Section 31, we have not realized the Rome inevitability yet, but i would say we should look to British history to try and avoid it.

  12. I am not a lifelong Reds supporter, nor am i a lifelong footballer, but i fell in love with the WHOLE that was LFC in 1998 and supported them ever since. And i religiously go to this site to get my news everyday here in the states. I am embarrassed by the standard rallying call of YNWA that is thrown around so frivolously like two teenagers saying 'i love you', because if Roy Hodgson needs anything right now, it is EXTREME support from the supporters. Roy, GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!

  13. I've taught in variuos roles as a supply teacher, maths teacher full time, part time student support assistant (help the teacher, look after disabled students) and also supervised what i guess is the in-school suspension room (don't know what the equivalent is- where they stick the naughty little fuckers).

I'm getting out of it as I am finding it extremely unrewarding. Where I teach the graduation rate is 25%, but in reality the actual rate of age approriate graduation is about 5%. Many students are in their early 20s when they get their diploma. You can only do so much and more and more of my lessons are taken up with discipline issues, trying to settle the class and constant harassing of students to get on track.

Grade 7 maths of 18 students only 5 can make it to the start of class in the morning and the rest trickle in. Because of race and cultural issues, the adminstration cannot discipline these kids so there is no correction of behaviour or attitude towards education.

Coaching, however, I find extremely rewarding. The kids I coach want to be there and are grateful to have someone teach them football and take them to tournaments. Moreover, when you are the coach you make the rules, set guidelines and expectations and are the judge, jury and executioner regarding any issues that arise. No dealing with adminstration that just send the kids back to class after some silly motivational talk or a proverbial slap on the wrist.

    Bring back the strap!

Only if you could teach like you coach.
