Was surprised by The Kings Speech, thought the reviews were just for Colin Firths ability to stammer and his likelihood of winning an Oscar for portraying an English Royal figure with a disability. How wrong I was, it was really good. The story was enjoyably told once some factual inaccuracies are overlooked. The direction has a sure touch with lots of humour and fine performances from Colin firth and also Rush and Bonham-Carter. A good solid 8.5/10 for me
