49% is not stupid. First; they get the rights for 49% of the clubs increasing value (new stadium, tv-rights, etc). Second; money gives power. They are way richer than Hicks, and will probably offer to invest money from their own pocket when needed in exchange for power in concrete areas.
Anyway; even 49% is great for us fans. I am sure they will do what they need so that their investment becomes a huge success, as that would increase its value. At least they will not look at their big investment become a new Leeds and valueless.
Not so happy with Hicks getting the formal power after all the lies, but at least he is a good and experienced businessman, so with safe finance for the club I think it will be ok. The most important is that our club lives on as a top european club.
