  1. That's on the boss not the players. Saka, as an example obviously made up an injury to stay away, that's different from faking an injury after 10 minutes 2 games in a row. That throws up all sorts of problems that could be avoided by not being a cunt. Hopefully they're both really patriotic and their injuries are of the serious nature.
  2. Be interesting to see what kind of reaction there is if Walker and/or Stones play on Sunday. Surely faking injury for the national team is worse than change the colour of the national team cross?
  3. That tackle could be anything from back to training tomorrow to out for 8 weeks. All sorts going there.
  4. Good Friday was always a tricky one, in Ireland anyway. Never an official bank holiday but most business's treated it as such. Is it the same for Easter Monday?
  5. Is Diaz senior still living in England and his mam back in Columbia? If that's the case it's a no brainer the family would prefer to be somewhere they understand the language.
  6. There is a correlation on our opinion of the kits and the performance the team put in in those jersey's.
  7. I'm not defending how they appoint refs and VAR's, just pointing the numbers won't be that off. I'd bet if you looked at Kavanagh,Tierney, Taylor, Oliver and Brooks they would all be ref and var for the "big 6" 8 or 9 times this season. Then the newer or less experienced refs will all have 1 or 2 each.
  8. There are a handful of them that only get a couple of games and usually they are Bournemouth v Fulham or if its a big team it's normally a home banker without drama. That's a huge part of the problem, they are creating a system where only the top guys get the top teams and you only get to the top by staying out of trouble. We have Atwell on Thursday, he awarded this goal and still has a job.
  9. Just looking at the PL website and noticed they often do a VAR and a game in the same weekend, both Tierney and Coote have 1 of each this weekend. With that context the numbers are probably not as off as they initially appear. As per your post he is on 30% of our games, he should be on 20% if he's doing 2 per weekend and given he's somehow considered in the top bracket his numbers do add up.
  10. The elephant in the room here hasn't been included. Keita is finished, Thiago still has vital contributions to make.
  11. Next step is start sanctioning as they did with Russians supporting the illegal invasion.
  12. The idea of signing a Thiago did and still does make sense. When we field a midfield of Endo, Jones and MacAllister it doesn't matter at 3pm on a Saturday what each of them cost, the same output is required from all 3. Signing someone like Bruno Guimaraes* or Paqueta* for example would cost us £100m we will never see again but leaves us with a midfield with an average cost of about £30m* and average age of about 25. * ignoring Bruno's stupid face, Paquetas lifelong ban and £30m is just a guess.
  13. Wirtz is a fabulous player, Xabi best bring him with him.
  14. That's when you don't have actually touch the player but the action was still dangerous. Usually a high boot.
