  1. If Rafa goes now I fear melt down. He has changed the backroom staff at both Melwood and the Academy. He has been given more power than any other manager and fooked it up. For all those who have blindly allowed that to happen shame on you. The Liverpool Way is dead. For all his faults Parry tried to prevent it happening and was shouted down by supporters who saw him as a hindedrance to progress. Rafa now reigns supreme he must stay and see the job through the alternatives are too dire to consider.
  2. I'd agree, but Rafa said he can't guarantee we will beat the bottom of the league!
  3. There are 57 players at Melwood, 35 have squad numbers and you think were a bit on the thin side. Our biggest problem is the quality in our squad. Rafa has gone for quantity over quality. God knows how much this squad costs us. Todays bench had to be one of the weakest I have known for a Liverpool 1st team. We had one player who could change the game Benayoun and he should have started before Babel.
  4. Not sure about Putterill, but Threlfall and Lindfield both have 12 months left on their contracts.
  5. Good point! None at all. But I'd be interested to see his football cv.
  6. That's totally racist! A fat Spanish Cat please.
  7. If Ablett doesn't pick the team and has preselected substitutions how can he be to blame? His biggest fault has been taking this shit for so long. He lost all credibilty, he had to go to save his own name! Rafa has dessimated the academy, we have lost big names like Heighway and Ablett and we are left with McParland (A failed BT engineer), McMahon (brother of a footballer) and Owen Brown (Failed conference manager). We really are setting the standards. If Rafa doesn't deliver we will be rueing his legay for a long time. It's no longer what you know, but more who you know. None of these upstarts give a shit about Liverpool fc just the size of their ego's. In Rafa we trust!
  8. Yes he was. You can only be a Yes man for so long though! It's OK when your winning, but now he's taking the flack for the reserves dire performances and that must hurt when you have no say in the players ability or team selection. Rafa will just have to find someone with the right credentials. Perhaps Owen Brown or Frank McParland !:whoops:
  9. This is a much better squad than the one that won it twice, just not enough foreigners. Hopefully Rafa will give them the chance they deserve.
  10. lindfield got the first great ball from barnett and a good finish by the lad. its on .tv now and it has the first goal.
  11. Are our under 18 squad on the game? im buying it on monday i cant wait. And by the way pro evo beats fifa hands down!!! :wallbutt: i cant wait any longer i need that game sooooo bad.
  12. Laughin!!!!! Good report, but that jinx has struck again. Not only can't we score at home when the Dane is there but we appear to credit Bolton with a goal as well. Check the headline score.
  13. if you looked at the facts though u would see that Bolton have had 3 0-0 draws and have only conceded 5 all season. They play a boring 4-5-1 formation and kill the game. Also blueshite have only conceded 7 goals all season with the same boring tactics. Seems a coincidence that both have the lowest goals scored apart from bottom of the league Wolves. Our under 18's are 2nd in the league and only 3 points behind the points tally for the whole of last year and 1 goal off the total scored last year, seems like a reasonable improvement to me......
