  1. Thiago for me, because when he played I enjoyed watching him. I enjoyed Keita maybe a handful of times, and the rest of it he was either shite or just not what I thought we were getting. We never saw the Leipzig Keita. Not even once. Not even his best game for us lived up to what I thought we were getting.
  2. All these years later, Igor Biscan still makes me smile. It's just an involuntary reaction, I see him and it just brings a smile to my face.
  3. Richard Keys knows as much/little about this situation as that Pletigoal jabroni at Sky Germany does. Both should be completely ignored really.
  4. Remember when Chelsea signed him and their fans nicked our flag design we had for him, not realising the Shankly Gates were on it!
  5. He downed tools. His attitude was a fucking disgrace and I was calling him out for it long before it transpired that he wanted out.
  6. Me and @Chris were in the stadium for that. Wasn't the most memorable part of that night. That would be when the giant footy at the side of the pitch opened up to reveal a stage, on which the Proclaimers were stood and then belted out 500 miles. One of those "i was there" moments that was. Zidane's goal came off his shin by the way. Massively over-rated goal, which is very much on brand.
  7. His is a take so bad it isn't covered by know nothing, nobody is that stupid. Saying something like that, you're doing it for a reaction. Danny Mills' entire pundit 'career' is based on shit like that.
  8. The shoes are fucking massive, but he's left the club in the healthiest state it might have ever been in, all things considered. So that makes the job much easier.
  9. Anyone who believes in himself should not see it that way at all. Even the likes of Moyes, Allardyce, Lampard or whoever you want to mention will look at this job and think "I could really achieve things there". Doesn't mean they would do, but any manager worth his salt would believe they could. So anyone who looks at our set up and thinks "nah, too big shoes to fill" shouldn't be considered for the job anyway as they've got no balls and probably know they aren't good enough. A top manager who knows what he's doing should see this as an absolutely perfect destination as everything is in place already. Usually when a big job comes up it's because the club is in a bit of a mess and needs someone to come in and fix it. This isn't that.
  10. Agree 100%. You don't beat a team to the title and then go and join them. You just don't do it, it's a massive kick in the balls to your current club.
  11. Yeah. Either he doesn't see Egypt as African enough or he's got his Bitter Specs on and won't recognise a Liverpool player as being the best. Could be both.
  12. That's how I remember all of that too. The Rush thing was mad, literally everybody thought Pallister was going to walk out to face the press and it was Rushy. Imagine being able to pull something like that off now.
  13. Liverpool in my scenario is Bayern in Xabi's, but otherwise I think it's definitely apples to apples.
