I think he played against us for Augsburg last season but other than that I am pretty sure I've never seen him play. At this point, he seems the sort who isn't expected to be first choice but could get a run of games and prove himself a useful asset to the team. Man Utd once bought a relative unknown called Ronny Johnsen for about £1m and if Klavan can have a similar impact for us that Johnsen had for the Mancs, we will have got real value for money.
