I've never watched Breaking Bad as it'sit's never appealed to me. But this intrigues me. Can I watch it without watching Breaking Bad?

And I'm getting stick for my movie misses!

Saul is a top character and he plays the shit out of it. Loving this though I'm not sure where it can go. Maybe thats a good thing

I like the way they are taking it slow, much like Breaking Bad. I expect it to step up the storylines towards the end of the season.

I reckon he'll end up meeting an academic and his protégé who's suffering some sort of crisis and go on epic adventures before retiring to pursue his love of cinnamon based baked goods.

watched the first episode and loved it. Then tuco appeared at the end of the episode and i hated his character in breaking bad so that put me off a bit. I'll get round to watching the next few over weekend I think.

loved mike, gus and hank fingers crossed they will all appear at some point (I know mike already has in episode one)

Its started well. Inevitably people will compare it to Breaking Bad which is a mistake because its never going to be that good, but its still very entertaining. It does help if you have seen Breaking Bad mind because it gives you depth to the characters that you wouldn't otherwise have. At least at the beginning.

I'm still not sure what I think of it - I'm leaning to good, not great.

To be fair Breaking Bad was so boring yet addictive at the beginning, I nearly stopped watching it twice. Then all of sudden just got brilliant, I think the purpose of both programmes is to add so much depth to the characters, you sort of understand why they are doing what they are.

I like it, Saul is probably the best character from Breaking Bad. I loved the explanation of his name, after countless episodes I never realised it meant "it's all good man".
