Anyone been there or live there? Looking for a nice hotel and some recommendations on places to visit etc. Only staying for 4 days before heading north. Any help is much appreciated.

would you take these as our ONLY signings of the summer? Barry at the expense of no one. I think Xabi struggles with 2 games a week so he would make the squad stronger when we have a mid week game and Tevez I guess would also be an excellent option if Gerrard/Torres are injured or if Benitez wanted to play Gerrard in midfield at home. It would make sense and I can see it being likely. The question is, would Barry/Tevez accept this kind of role?

I just dont fuckin belive this.Weve been crying out for a creative link forward player,ie in the mold of Dalglish and beardsley for years and i truly belived we were finally going to get that player in the shape of tevez.Ive even been arguing with my girlfreind who is a manc that they would not get tevez because he is to similar to rooney.Now getting torres and tevez would of been good but a choice between the 2 it sureley should of been tevez.The thing is weve got players who can score goals if the right type of player is up front to play with them. Now ferguson knows all about the link forward because for years he watched our teams with beardsley and dalglish rip his teams apart and he knew the secret to a great team was to have this type of player,that is why he had cantona then sheringham,then to some extent yorke.I belive rooney was signed for this role but maybee he has other plans for him this year.I just think Benitez has been loking for a striker who could play the upfont roll on his own player ,he signed crouch i belive for this roll and in some extent kuyt,and to me torres is a similar player,so i belive our atack will be not much better than it was last year. Just watch Carlos Tevez will be a major thorn in our side for years to come.yours truly pissed off shouter.
