Before the some people start this is not a dig at Benitez, it is a fact that Anfield has no fear factor for anyone any more, the likes of Stoke, Hull, Fulham and West Ham (relegation fodder/ mid-table shite) can all come to Anfield and comfortably get a result. I would like people's opinions on this please. Outside some of the tactics I have two theories for this 1. Pitch is too small, you look at Anfield in comparison to Old Trafford and it seems like there is a lot less space to open up the opposition, maybe Rafa likes it small as it suits his compact mentality but it seems anyone who sets their stall out at Anfield denies us of any space, where as at United there is plenty of room for their attacking players to operate. 2.Crowd- I'm am not saying they have cost us points but it would help if the atmosphere was more cooked up as it is for the European games. -
Really not coming up with much in terms of original ideas, what you guys got for me?
