As his biggest critic, I must admit Hodgson almost melted my heart when he mumbled " You'll Never Walk Alone" before the Bolton game. Fairdoes to the guy, maybe now he gets it.

With the new mood around the club and everyone connected with it at the moment I just want to say "Thank you" to Roy Hodgson. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you and I can't blame you for accepting the position of "Manager" of the Best Club in the world - Almost each and everyone of us would make the same decision even though we know we wouldn't have a clue of how to go about making us great again. (Code72 thinks he would be don't listen to him. I don't blame you for that decision at all - I do however never see myself making the same sort of post to Christian Purslow who allowed his ego to run away with him and played that most dreadful of all games "Politics" with our club and lives). Thanks for trying, thanks for accepting the time was right to Move on, thanks for putting us in a position where the only answer really was Kenny Dalglish. Come along to the bar closest to the ground next time we're in a European Cup final and I'll buy you a pint. All the best Roy and good luck in whatever you choose to do in the future. Thank you.
