Sturridge for Suarez, same team otherwise, 6-0.

3 days to go, bored shitless with crappy transfer "news" for the want of a better word. Can't believe that no thread has been started yet. Preferred line up: Reina Johnson, Carra, Agger, Enrique Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho (Downing will probably start though) Subs: Downing (Coutinho will probably be on the bench), Sterling, Assaidi, Allen, Skrtel, Wisdom, Jones 1-3 victory, with a nail-biting 2 goals from us in the 80th - 92nd minute. Personally, I hope that Downing never starts for us again. Although we've seen an upsurge in his form recently, anything is better than the improbably low standards he's set since he joined. Also, I can't stand the sight of him running toward opposition while without the ball in order to not receive it, and the temerity he showed shushing us after his solitary league goal in almost two seasons. I fail to see how I could have been excited when we actually signed him... I'd prefer an attacker that can actually contribute to our attack, hopefully Coutinhos that player, and I'd like to see more of what he can do. Sterling has faded recently, and I'd keep him on the bench, maybe Assaidi can get a few minutes in this one as well.
