Barce are STILL trying to offload him I get the impression that he will want to play for a real club, so the question is would you take him if the fee/wages were reasonable? He would have to lower his demands but he could play for a real club and at the top level or he could take the shilling at somewhere like City or Chelsea, it would be a sad sight to see him playing out his career at such classless clubs and I doubt he wants that, infact I think he's holding out for AC Milan. I am sure the crowd would love him here and if we got him back to fitness and form imagine him with Nando and Stevie, truly a class player if it made sense a deal should be put to him, as Henry says "it must be amazing if you're a Liverpool player"

Ok, so I've not really gotten into a new band for a good while now, as I basically never listen to radio as I don't want to hear the same playlist every 2 hours, with maybe the odd few songs different and maybe even 1 or 2 new songs, neither of which may be any good. I find the word-of-mouth method much more efficient, if you ask the right people or trust the judgement of someone regarding music. So I'd like to list a handful of well-known bands that I really like and if anyone knows of a good up-and-coming local band that I could chase a few songs from, that'd be sweet. Just feel like I'm listening to the same stuff over and over at the mo. If anyone wants to throw a list of their fave bands/artists together, I will happily do the same for them :) So anyway.... Bon Jovi, U2, Oasis, Alter Bridge, GNR, Eagles, Aerosmith. There are more, but they've slipped my mind for the mo. Ta, lads!

I've been playing for one of my local pub sides for the past 2 years. It's a pretty poor standard and i do think (without being big headed) i'm a little above the level we play at. My team's pretty shit and i've been offered by another lad i know to go and try at a local semi pro team. I'm not sure i'd make it there but he thinks i'd have a shot. The only problem is, they train twice a week and play Saturdays which means no Friday nights out and i'm still only a young lad, plus i don't really know anyone there and at my current team we have a fucking great laugh and as one of the by better players in my side i feel like i'd be letting my mates down fucking off, especially as one or two other lads have gone and it was this group of lads who dragged me down to play with them in the first place which i'm really greatful for. Playing for both isn't an option really so do i stay with my underachieveing sunday league team, have a great laugh and keep scoring hat fulls of goals in a shitty league, or do i try and better myself at a level i may not be good enough to play at with a bunch of lads i don't know?

Great late night viewing. It never fails to raise a laugh.

According to Shankslegend on RAWK, we been negotiating with Valencia for Villa, but couldn't come to an agreement. He says they want money up front and we want to spread payments over a few years. Wonder if this will change if we get more than expected from some player sales?

Hard-nosed may wish to look away, as this thread will no doubt be classed as too gay for your liking... Anyway, given the general atmosphere of bitterness and shite that has apparently become the norm recently, I would like each reply to this thread to say a something pleasant and positive about another poster. Make as many replies as you like, and there are no limits to the amount of praise that can be heaped upon one individual. The phrase "If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't bother" does apply to this thread, hence whereas "Poster X always makes me laugh" is a valid reponse, "Poster Y is a wum who sucks off tramps in the park" is not. To start... kop seems like a genuinely chilled-out chap

He surely loves his Paco's... This is former Valencia coach Paco de Miguel who sat next to Rafa during today's game.
