Today, tucked away in the column inches and likely not even mentioned by the hyperbolic Jim White during his torturous stint fronting sly sports news, will he utter the words 'another of wenger's \ arsenal's expensive flops leaves the club.' Yet, Gervinho joins arshavin, chamak as high profile strikers who didnt deliver (well arshavin did fuck our recent title challenge up by putting 4 past us singlehandedly but less said about that the better!). Gervinho's striker record for wenger is 11 goal since August 2011. Chamak, also heralded as the next big striker sensation has hardly got into double figures. Arshavin hasnt scored that many goal either and found himself quietly dropping down the pecking order. He's available on a free now.
