Following on from a point someone else made in another thread, I thought I’d ask the question about peoples feeling on fidelity to their other half. Basically, would you sleep around if you were in a long term relationship? I’m not asking about people who are just with girlfriends/boyfriends for a short period, but the ones who are into something for the long haul. Further to this, I’m also talking about working relationships. I.e. not people in a relationship that’s in its death throes as that could sway you also. This also is not about whether or not you’d get caught, so take it for this exercise you wouldn’t get caught. I’m looking to assess the moral fortitude of the forum. IMPORTANT NOTE – I’ve made this poll private in case some people have partners that read the forum also. Therefore you can vote with impunity. To show its private, I’ve voted already, so you can click on the “view poll” option to confirm.

Hmmm A prominent French socialist taken out of the frame slap bang in the middle of delicate bailout negotiations with Greece. Similar situation to what the head of Wikileaks was charged with. Standard CIA and KGB practice was always the 'honey trap'. Dominique Strauss-Kahn: IMF head accused of sexually attacking a hotel chambermaid - Telegraph

Does anyone seriously think this is going to happen, and more to the point does anyone think it actually OUGHT to happen now? i wonder if the financial costs - probably more than £500m now - are such that it no longer makes commercial sense in the way that a £70-90m stadium would have done in the 90s (thanks again DM and RP). Look at Arsenal - Wenger admitting that he needs to find £24m a year from sales for the next 24 years, and they can't sell the flats at Highbury that were supposed to cover some of the costs. Even if this comment was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, if Arsenal can't make the finances work, charging £900 for their CHEAPEST season ticket - then how on earth can we up in Liverpool? Simply put - can we really afford it and does it make sense? The Yank Cowboys won't get the money and to be honest I doubt they'll take the financial risk any more. These days you either need a rich benefactor (DIC?? Thanks again DM) or a commercial partner (ie tesco for Everton; Manchester Council and government grants for the City of Manchester Stadium). We don't have either. How long before redeveloping Anfield is presented as an option again or - if the Govt is called in to the Kirby scheme - groundshare with the Bluesh+te rears its ugly head again?
