Going to take the site off for 10 minutes or so whilst I do a back up. I'll take it offline at 23.40, I'm letting you know now in case you're in the middle of typing out a long post and then lose it when the site goes down.

As those who saw my "twitter advice" thread a while back will know, I'm shite at all this computed stuff. Well, basically, I'd changed my facebook password when a bit jarred for some daft reason, but then couldn't remember it. Tried a few things, but no joy. Anyway, I did the stuff where you reset your password, but (this is where it gets a wee bit confusing) my facebook password goes to my work e-mail, but I can't get on facebook in work, so I have to e-mail the password reset instruction to my gmail account and then access it at home on my personal laptop to change it many hours later. However, each time I tried it, it wouldn't allow it. Maybe because of the delay of hours, it wasn't liking it. Anyway..... I brought my work laptop home so I could do it all in one go, and it seemed to finish it properly this time, but now the system is saying that I've reset my password too many times and to fuck off. So now I can't access my account anymore. Any suggestions? Ideally proper suggestions and not the kind of wanky, useless, arsey. sad efforts at witty shite that I usually post on threads like this, if at all possible. Thanks

Help me pleeeeeease Now you may recall I'm not a computer techy so keep your instructions basic please.. I have a Laptop Compaq 6720s with Windows Vista..but its fucked (note the technical terms) I want to restore to factory sesttings but it just wont let me..I ve done the restart press F10 in rombased setup thing as per my manual but it just downt work.. I've also tried to get vista off by overriding with XP but it doesnt recognise the drivers.. Please tell me what to do (in kiddy terms) and I'll buy you a beer. Cheers Lou

Hi all, Hope someone can help me!! My boss has got a nasty thing on his computer. Basically: All google searches redirect to other search engines and spyware removal sites. Antivirus software is not being allowed to update. New virus software I've installed (spybot etc...) is not opening. Addresses for online scanners won't work. Seems like this bit of kit is protecting itself from being deleted and I'm stuck now. Anyone know of anything I can do?! Thanks in advance.

After 24,The Wire(best ever) The Shield,Prison Break(first season)CSI,Homicide ,24 ,Sopranos,Heroes etc,etc .How high has the televison bar gone now and has it had a knock on effect to the film industry as film reviews now are often stating that it is similar to 24 or glorified this or that . ITV dramas alway start off OK but the second / concluding part are more often than not a let down Take away FX / HBO and what are we left with ?
