  1. Everyone is saying we have signed him. Anyone know anything about him? the first thing I enjoyed was reading that the Glams had been eyeing him up recently for Old Toilet ...
  2. Over on the Members' Forum (in your dreams, peasants!) Red Nick has just admitted that he never comes around here anymore. Sounds like open season to me. (6) - Red Nick is a massive Peter Andre fan. - The mangina dance in Silence of the Lambs was based on Red Nick's daily pre-breakfast routine. - If you lick Red Nick, he tastes like the jelly stuff in the top of a cheap pork pie. - Red Nick once pushed 12 kumquats up his bunghole. He managed to recover 10 of them. - Red Nick is an Evertonian. Any more?
  3. After the tv break in our last league game, we're back on the box this week for the first trip this season to Brummieland on Sunday. Hopefully everyone will be back from the international games without a scratch or strain, to play at a ground where it's fair to say, we don't have a great record. AGENDA: League Game 4/38: v Birmingham City (a) KO: 15:00 GMT/16:00 Local 12 September Host Broadcaster: BSKYB Poolmobiles: SC Transport Last Train: 13:35 Lime Street - Birmingham/Return Train: 18:35 And Roy, if you're going to start FT, don't sub him after an hour. Even you should be capable of learning from that mistake.
  4. I usually don't watch the mancs but will make an exception today as seing Everton getting bummed is too good to pass up. No Rooney for the mancs today.
  5. After the tough start and trip to Turkey, we finally get a break in the ardous obstacles, with a home banker against the yo-yo club. With G&T set to return, the game provides a good opportunity for them to show us exactly what we've been missing for a while. AGENDA: League Game 3/38: v West Bromwich Albion (h) KO: 14:00 GMT/15:00 Local 29 August Host Broadcaster: BBC Sport Web: Satellites/Streams While looking for 6 goals as someone else got against them lately, may be asking a lot with one man alone upfront, half would match our return from our last home game against them, and be a decent return from our first 3pm ko of the season. Lets hope the lads at the game are sent home with no complaints from the last home game for a month.
  6. Have to say i thought at this stage we would have had the LB and back up striker well sorted, we also really really an out and out winger desperately as we have none. The Masch situation reminds me of the Alonso situation, a fucking saga and a debacle that has dragged out all summer long and now its so late that many options have dwindled, and its obviously causing disharmony within the team! Disgusted at Mascherano, pulling out of the game like that was despicable but i wouldn't put anything past the poison little dwarf. When the fuck are we going to have a time at LFC when the off the pitch nonsense doesn't over shadow everything else, stain on the club. We really need a few additions aswell as a few exits in the next week, before the window ends.
  7. West Brom (H) Birmingham (A) Mancs (A) Surely a minimum of 6/7 points of of the points is a must?
  8. Thought he was immense today at the back. Had Chamakh in his back pocket. Strong in the air , brave in the tackle. Agger is going to find it hard to dislodge Carra and Skrtel on this form.
  9. Liverpool's perfect replacement for Mascherano is apparently today linked with the club. It has been reported that a bid has been made and that Milan are keen to cut their ties with the Frenchman whom I believe was easily the best player in his position in the prem and should have been Arsenal's player of the season. He is to me a much better player than Mascherano and to get him on the cheap and make money off the Mascherano sale would just be epic and put Roy as some kind of genius in the market already. Flamini is all action but in a smart way, he's strong in the tackle but rarely needs to leave his feet (sign of great positioning) and he can keep play moving along as shown at Arsenal where no one plays in their midfield that can't pass a ball. As a side note I rate him and Toulalan as the two best DM in the world when fit and on form and when you look at talent like Gourcuff, Ribery, Benzema, Llloris and I could go on, it just shows what a shit manager Domenech truly is. Flamini is supremely gifted in his position and has the hunger and desire to play first team football regularly in that position, if we get him I will be over the moon and I doubt I'll be the only one! http://community.footballpools.com/blog/2010/08/03/flamini-former-gunner-to-replace-mascherano-at-anfield/
