Anyone hoping to get to some this year. I've always wanted to go Glastonbury but am put off this year by Jay Z and Neil Diamond plus it's always really hard to get a ticket. The T in the Park line up looks good. Maybe I'll go this one. Shame it's so fucking far away. I've just ordered a new PC. No bother I thought. My Mrs has just come home and gone mental at me spending what I did. I said I needed it. How can I manage without a PC. She then points out that in one room I have 3 laptops going (in fairness to me one is replacing the blown desktop) one is my daughter's that I am resurrecting and one is works. What about the iPad and 2 phones she says. Pah they are too small. Is this all getting silly now? I think so

I reckon the GF needs an anthem. The anthem will serve many purposes - 1. To be played at the finals of the GF Championship/Chess Championship/etc 2. To be played as a rousing tune to inspire posters before a battle with the FF or another forum. 3. To be played whenever a long, pointless argument breaks out as to remind everyone that we are actually all big soppy cunts who love each other and have better things to do than heatedly 'discuss' random shite. 4. A few more purposes that I'll think up later. So post some suggestions and then the ones that are most widely agreed on can go into a poll that me or someone else can make at some point in the future. And in the spirit of what the anthem will stand for, lets not have this thread turn into a petty musical spat. In fact, if one person breaks into a discussion about Chris Martin's personal life they will receive a daily negging from me for as long as I can be arsed.

In Revolution bar in Manchester last night about 7 ish .Looks out of the window and this ginger tramp had his donger out pissing like a race horse on the main road and pavement.He eventually finished,half put his giggle stick away and proceeded to swear like a trooper before happily picking up his 600 litre bottle of white lightening and his plastic bags. He seemed very happy .However the ladies who had to avoid his random pissing action did not seem to find that funny. A ginger tramp that is one fucked up man that.

Just filling in my ST application and was gonna enrol for the auto cup ticket scheme until I realised my debit card expires in January. My missus said I can use her card details if I want but does anyone know whether the club allows this or not?

Many people on here got one of these? I picked one up 6 weeks ago after months of thinking about it. It is the best techie thing I have bought. I wanted it for playing my x264 tv eps and bluray/hd-movies and it does that and much more. I stuck a 2.5" laptop HDD inside it and the whole unit is totally silent. I can even transport it to a mates house and watch on their setup. A couple of days ago they opened up themes on it and a good little community is forming with people building xbmc type themes.

Complete with certificate, photograph, a free pass to Monkeyworld etc. I'll scan everyting in tomorrow and post it here. Kyko seems a decent sort, although he hasn't brought his skates with him which is disappointing. Little Lurtz and I decided to get an indian earlier so we got one for Kyko too but he's not over-keen on the lamb biryani. He's been out on the balcony for most of the evening, whistling and pulling faces at at fit birds. I think he'll fit in nicely here.

Barce sniffing round Barcelona Intensify Silva Interest Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain has intensified efforts to sign Valencia left-winger David Silva, according to reports in Spain. The Blaugrana are looking to bolster their squad in light of recent failures on the pitch, as well as replace certain players who are set to leave Camp Nou this summer. Sport claim that Begiristain is eyeing the midfielder for his versatility in the middle of the park, which Silva has displayed for Los Che, playing on either wing and in the hole. Los Che have warned that they may be forced to sell some of their most prized assets and, although several clubs are interested in Silva, the chances of him moving to Barcelona are increasing as Valencia try and balance their books. With Ronaldinho expected to sign for Milan soon, Begiristain is looking for a player who can easily adapt to cover for the out-going Brazilian playmaker. It is believed the Catalan giants will be able to land the player for around €18 million and Silva would be tempted by a move to Camp Nou as he will be able to increase, if not double, his current salary as well as play Champions League football next season. It is understood that Barcelona are pushing for Florent Malouda as well, hoping to close the deal for one of the two before the start of the European Championship.

I have always liked him as a manager, not because he plays attacking football because he really doesn't. His teams always play on the fast counter attack and create chance after chance with penetrative football. His teams always have great movement and can stretch teams really well... what impresses me though is that they can do it without hoofing, it is counter attacking football similiar to what the excellent Deportivo side played a number of years ago now. Hiddink is a pragmatic manager (not defensive or attacking) but his teams play football how it should be played with freedom of expression along with defensive solidity. Even if they go out he will have done wonders for a minor footballing nation again. Hiddink always gets teams playing greater than the sum of their parts.

Someone mentioned them on that thread 'which shall not be spoken of', basically the rude ones popping up when you don't want them to and at completely unpredictable times. Now as I don't expect to get any kind of consensus about people not using explicit ones (surprise surprise), can anyone tell me if there's any way to disable them?
