    Well that’s a big statement. I don’t think anyone is really a libertarian, we just disagree where to draw the lines. To illustrate my point, out of interest, which of the following 10 things would you legalise ? 1.Hard drugs 2. Dangerous dogs 3. Guns 4. No Speed limits 5. child pornography 6. Bestiality 7. incest 8. Paedophilia 9. necrophilia 10. Whites only establishments

    My point is in pretty much every match thread somebody will claim the ref is bias or corrupt. If we lose on Sunday to a border line decision there will be loads of accusations. When these things work in our favour there’s a deafening silence. It’s not unique to lfc, a lot of other forums have threads about bias or corruption. The refs must be multi millionaires if it’s all true.

    Hopefully this episode will put an end to the constant accusations of bias and/or corruption everytime we lose a game. It won’t of course but you’d think it would go some way to.

    I was a student there in the 1980s. I used to work as a kitchen porter in the Holiday Inn opposite the pier until midnight every Friday and Saturday, eat like kings with the chefs then meet a lot of friendly women in Hoddy’s night club.
