Same here. I did see that Chelsea were leading but I then put my phone I another room in charge, had my tea and had a shower and by then the game had well finished.

I checked the score fully expecting a City comeback and win so the draw was a welcome sight.

I normally avoid until at least 30 mins after but am away at the moment and the time difference screwed me. Ended up checking with 30 to go and then couldn’t stop myself checking every 5 mins or so.

While I agree in principle, what would be the punishment for 35 proven failure to comply cases?

As I posted earlier today, the political issues that accompany this makes it a potential minefield - in 2021, the UAE committed to invest £10bn in the UK economy, what if they don’t pledge for future investments? The UK has a free trade agreement with the Gulf Council (which the UAE is part of) what if UAE pulls out or become increasingly difficult to deal with? What if they refuse to sell oil to us? They’ve invested in our wind farms, what if they try to tank them? It could go on and on.

And this I think is the sad reality if it wasn’t so completely linked to dealing with the states it would  have been resolved in logical steps.
The fact that it has dragged on has made the whole thing a farce.

For me if you don’t comply you don’t take part - but that doesn’t seem like something they are contemplating as an outcome so we end up where we are.

If you want to punish, to actually do it properly, you take each opportunity especially if it’s indisputable as the failure to cooperate should be.

Why the fuck are they still allowed to participate and parade trophies. Its like watching the winner of the 100 metres take drugs before the race and allowing his win, talking about how great he is but really we should look at those drugs he took as they may of helped him win. Commiserations to the runners up.

I’ve never understood why they are going for all 115 charges at once. Surely it would be an easier to break them down.
Say the 35 for not cooperating- failure to comply is easy to prove. Deal with these and then pick another set or period.
that would have been better than allowing this vast amount to build up.

    Definitely the latter.

I want them to feel the kick in the knackers we did after holding out so long.

That sick in the pit of your stomach feeling, all topped off with the injuries they’ve got

I wouldn’t mind them having a goal rules out incorrectly as well.

What's the thoughts on the Rashford situation ?

If  I had booked a birthday ages before and invited all kinds of friends and family, like fuck would I cancel it all because my team lost earlier that day.

They lose regularly enough that surely it’s not that much of a shock or that devastating.

    Called it.

A proper brain fart, but the onside was so obvious, and the protocol for not flagging marginal offsides so established, that the lino deserves as much flak.

They are surely not going with this how can they explain not noticing where the match was being restarted from ?

  7. There’s no way it took long to realise the monumental fuck up -surely the knew in minutes, everyone else did. The goal could have been awarded then. Not ideal but surly better than waiting twenty minutes after the game to say it was wrong.
Neville saying Klopps wrong for asking “what does the apology do “ is shite because he’s bang on it does nothing. Admitting and rectifying as soon as they knew was the only possible recompense.

No doubt they will come out and say the lines weren't working for the onside so they went with the on field decision, but that's not acceptable. Not the fact that they may not have been working (bullshit) but that they only tried for about 3 seconds. They pore over offside decisions for 4-5 minutes at a time yet gave up on that one today after a few seconds? Not having it. We should not accept that.

Plus you could see it with the naked eye it wasn’t contentious by kids saw it.
