  1. So he gets this pay out and stays on as a consultant somebody is really rubbing the noses of grass roots football in the grass with this total pisstake in my opinion, if the man has any dignity he would donate some of it to Grass roots football schemes.
  2. He's probably relishing playing in a team that plays decent football, always looked like an elegant fish out of the Stoke Sewer water football. Clever player for sure, and mobile as well.
  3. He just gets better each game for us, his workrate is brilliant as well and always looking to make things happen, as for his goal what sublime control. His celebration just made me laugh as well.
  4. Emerson Lake & Palmer Tarkus has to be my favourite Prog Rock CD
  5. Me just now Sometimes humour doesnt work as well as you think
  6. Recently watched Star is Born very good Watched Bohemian Rhapsody totally brilliant then this week i watched Mike Leigh's Peterloo which he wrote and directed it was far too wordy, boring ,slow, the characterisations were awful, by the time it came to the massacre i couldnt give a toss about anybody. Surpising really given Mike Leigh films are generally good and it had a decent cast in it but it was utter dogshit
  7. Maybe i need to try to fit in with the mindset in here so here goes : Klopp out , Hodgson In ( Too Much?)
  8. As the last of the bootroom boys Roy should be remembered with great respect he inherited a team of cloggers that Souness had put together and created a side with some truly beautiful football skills, although i appreciated what Ged brought to us i never understood the dual managers idea that was never going to work and in the end Roy fell on his sword for the sake of the club.
  9. Bad night all round but we are still in it and whose to say we wont take points from the last two games we always seem to be better with our backs against the wall, as for posters needing to have a dig at players not even on the pitch frankly get a life.
  10. Saw him at the NEC Birmingham in what turned out to be his last tour, electrifying performance no massive light show like U2 for example just the guy on stage wearing simple denin clothes enjoying himself singing all the best stuff with his band matching his brilliance.
  11. When he captained the under 21's years ago for psycho he was the deepest player DM is his natural position since coming to us he has played other roles though, i am not saying he is the best i am saying right now, Keita and Fabinho have not got the experience with the way the prem is so this season is all about aclimatisation, they might make costly errors during games still. I also think some people need a scapegoat or hate figure ironically Lucas was that in the past and right now it is Henderson and probably Lovren. Henderson just does the job Klopp gives him he isnt the best player in the team but he sure as hell isnt as bad as some of you are suggesting, if he was Klopp would never select him at all.
  12. Seems i watch a different game than some of you , what Henderson and for that matter Milner do is all the mostly ignored by some the dirty stuff the stopping the other team amd recycling the ball to the flashy guys you all seem to notice, as for being scared of the ball well thats just laughable. Henderson has had detractors since day one and they are not going to change their opinion any day soon, but for me he os one of a fair size group of midfielders we have now all with different styles and all which Klopp can utilise depending on were he sees the opponents strengths are.
  13. Souness the player a legend simple as that, Souness the manager a disaster tore up a decent team and bought average at best replacement, as for Souness the man obviously flawed and made a couple of very serious errors. Personally though i just want to remember the player at his Jaw Breaking best.
  14. Not sure why Henderson doesnt get the respect he deserves throughout the clubs supporters, people always seem eager to write him off and then he comes back and shows up for the team weak after weak, so rather than use another player to have a dig at henderson why not enjoy all the midfield options Klopp has when he is fit. As far as i am concerned right now i would want Henderson and possibly Milner in ahead of Fabinho or Keita if we are playing any top 6 team, simply because you want people you can rely on to stiffen up the midfield and make the right decisions. Right now both Keita and Fabinho are basically Premier League Virgins.
  15. The result was bad enough, i am old enough to remember the pre Common Market and the wonderful membership of EFTA. (Not) But to compound this self harming result the tories send into the negotiations useless people more akin to ' The Three Stooges' than clever men, none of them were in the same league as Barnier and frankly they could'nt negotiate their way out of a paper bag. So i would like to see some sort of vote be it in parliament or the referendum on the deal, we cant trust these Tories to deliver anything decent for this nation. Alternatively force a GE get Labour elected and send in a new team with maybe a brain to negotiate a new deal with the Customs Union included.
