I ordered one earlier, the 256. Don’t know why I need another gadget and I may end up cancelling it. I have a decent steam game library, mainly strategy games and I’m going to have a good look at reviews too before I decide one way or another.

Seeing as I'm legally stuck in I binge watched Clarkson's Farm, must admit I really enjoyed it and it had me laughing a lot. I spent a decent amount of time in that area of the country when I was in the military and it's beautiful. Of all the places in the UK that's probably the only area I would live if I could. It's TV so it's all contrived, the locals can sometimes be a little difficult to understand but they deliberately edited that old guy to make him less understandable. Still it was fun and far better than some of the shows that get shat out these days. If I only watched shows based on people that had the same or similar viewpoints to myself I'd hardly watch a fucking thing.

You don't give cunts the power to decide what social media does and doesn't allow depending on what they like or dislike. You pass legislation to make the social media platform responsible for what is posted on their software. Like broadcasters, and there are mainly laws against the evil stuff already. if you want more laws you pass them properly through legislation that is voted on. Fucking hell, sometimes I despair. Boris Johnson could be forced to order new Covid lockdown curbs in five weeks, Chris Whitty has warned just days before Monday's "Freedom Day". The Chief Medical Officer sounded the alarm over a potential "scary" growth in hospitalisations which could leave the NHS "in trouble again surprisingly fast" once restrictions are lifted. The top medic said if hospital admissions begin doubling and the jabs rollout was not "topping out" the pandemic, in "five, six, seven eight weeks' time" the Prime Minister may need to "look again" at restrictions. It comes after Mr Johnson insisted Brits must "learn to live with Covid" and ignored calls to keep the legal requirement for face masks in enclosed spaces beyond Sunday. Speaking at a British Science Museum event, Professor Whitty underlined that epidemics are "either doubling or they're halving", adding: "And currently this epidemic is doubling. It's doubling in cases. It is also doubling in people going to hospital, and it's doubling in deaths." He said that the doubling time for hospital cases was "around three weeks" and while the number of hospitalisations was "mercifully much lower", it was "not trivial". He said: "We've still got over 2000 people in hospital, and that number is increasing. "If we double from 2000 to 4000, from 4000 to 8000, to 8000 and so on, it doesn't take many doubling times till you're into very very large numbers indeed." Professor Whitty added that medics could soon be faced with "scary numbers again", adding: "I don't think we should underestimate the fact that we could get into trouble again, surprisingly fast." He added that more people could be fighting the disease in hospital "in five, six, seven, eight weeks' time", and went on: "They could actually be really quite serious... at that point if it looks as if things are not topping out, we do have to look again and see where we think things are going. "

I don't know, a replacement battery is pretty expensive. I don't believe that governments would allow us to motor around any cheaper than we currently do, if the plebs are paying this many hundreds a year, they'll still pay it. I've seen some figures that show that for many right now there's not a lot in it. Of course there are many variables to be taken into consideration. On the charging point, it's a twat to park now imagine living in a tower block and having to find a place to charge. Not everybody has a drive and a lot of people I know have car wars over parking now. Plus of course all of that electricity isn't just going magically appear. There are 32 million cars registered in the UK, if only a third of them plugged in to charge that's a massive drain. It's not impossible, just not really practical. Hence I think at some point it will be easier to drive to a garage and have a battery swap. Government gets it's tax on that and they're happy. There's even some talk of hydrogen powered charging points (garages) so that might help with the power demand. That was something on the fully charged YouTube channel with Robert Llwellyn (Krten) and that's a good place to start if you're considering an EV.

If you can do it now, have a place to charge it (there's a £350 grant towards getting a charger installed) and as a bonus have solar panels then it's a great time. If I could I'd have all that and a Tesla battery to store some of that power to then put back in the car and house at night. But the fun won't last, by the time a lot of us are there it will be as expensive as fuel. I actually believe that unless some other form of energy takes over, garages will store charged batteries and you'll drive in and they'll slide your flat one out and a fresh one in. It's the only logical way as we just haven't the space to put all of the cars on chargers.

They won't wait that long, several states in the USA are already charging a fuel duty tax on electric cars.

Well I await my order to self isolate. My youngest daughter grassed me up an hour ago to covid cops after she received a positive test result this evening. I was in her car for 30 minutes on Monday morning when she gave me a lift to Liverpool. I knew this was coming when her partner tested positive on a LF test on Tuesday so he and her took a PCR test yesterday. So I have stayed in since then and avoided anyone else just in case. They both feel like shit, my son is already isolating too after a work colleague had him pinged. My eldest daughter has said that they lost 5 members of staff today from being pinged and it's only going to get worse.

Andy Fordham, the former BDO darts world champion, has died aged 59 Fordham, who was nicknamed The Viking, beat Mervyn King in the 2004 final to win the title. After the triumph he took on Phil Taylor in a televised battle but fell ill during the match and had to withdraw. Fordham went into hospital last year for an operation on a bowel blockage. In January he contracted coronavirus, which he described as “the scariest thing” he had ever faced. However, he recovered and made plans to return to the oche, recently registering for next year’s World Seniors Darts Championship.

Covid-19 cases in all regions of England are at their highest level in almost six months, according to new data from Public Health England. A total of 48,553 new cases were reported on July 15 across the UK, the highest figure since January 15, while a further 63 deaths were also recorded. The North East and Yorkshire are recording the country’s highest case rates, reaching record highs not seen since comparable figures began in summer 2020. In the North East, there were around 835.8 cases per 100,000 people in the seven days to July 11, while in Yorkshire and the Humber there were 462.7 cases per 100,000 people. All other regions are recording their highest case rates since January. The spike in cases comes as large swathes of the population in England are being forced to self-isolate after being ‘pinged’ by the NHS Covid app - with over half a million people contacted in the space of one week.

If we’re counting cases, the UK wouldn’t come close to making its own green list. With the second-highest number of infections in Europe (352 per 100,000 citizens in the last seven days), and the Delta variant dominant, we would surely be red-listed. Their tracking is a little better and you can pay with PayPal. I have already received a shirt from them (for my son) and it was perfect. They have some decent training gear too and some nice retro shirts. The grandkids have the red kit and within a week or so they will have the away kit too.

Which is why I said, didn't take long. I expected it but not so soon. No mention of the financial restraints from paying back the huge loan to build it, or how they're going to get all those middle aged men to say the extra for adult tickets.
