Now, I dont want to be arguing over death and trying to make even 1 not a serious matter but we've had 55 and all but about 0.9% had other serious health issues. Medieval plagues wiped out millions of people at a faster and far higher rate. True, they didnt have any medicines to speak of but they keep saying a vaccine is 12 months off if you listen to some. Others say malaria treatment kills the virus. The situation and info is nuts, inconsistent and varies widely. Clearly, any death is untimely and a loss for families. The big question that isnt being resolved for me is, is this virus a serious threat to life as we know it? Even world wide, the number is less than 10,000. Were this to be seasonal flu, a virus or bacteria that mutates regularly so even vaccines dont always work, would there be the panic, for want of a better word, that we are seeing? And if the answer is yes, this virus could change the world as we know it, why the fuck wasnt the world put on lock down far earlier? Arguing about this party or that made it worse or would handle it better are just as stupid as blaming China for the outbreak.

Completely agree. There's as much chance of clubs instigating legal action if they arent promoted, missing out on the chance of promotion or deemed to be relegated with games left to play. If you cancel or void the season, someone is going to miss out on something. Loads of people but mainly city, everton and united fans, seem to think the 2020 / 21 season will start in August as normal if this one is 'cancelled.' Im pretty certain the season will not be declared null and void. Brady's a cunt for running with this and so is Levy if the reports spurs support that position are true. But it's classic go in with your worst case position so you can soften your stance if you get offered concessions such as no relegation this season. Then hope to rebuild in the next transfer window such that you're well out of the relegation fight 'next' season. Most of the papers are talking worst case scenario too but, Hudson Odoi says he's recovered, Arteta's missus is saying he still felt ok and wouldnt normally have stopped off work. If everton's player and team are cleared plus other clubs report players in the clear then there's momentum getting going to at least restart the season on or after 4 April even if its behind closed doors.
