    That's interesting, I haven't really followed it but there was some Geordie fans in the pub saying it was when he was in Italy and was betting in games in other countries that he wasn't involved in so he won't get a massive ban....they were obviously talking shit

    A lad I grew up with is a snooker ref. He does all of the top events and he told me if they are found in the same bar as a player even if they haven't spoken to them the are suspended to cut down on match fixing. Yet we have shit like this going on in football

    What i don't get unless I've missed something from the "statement ". OK if we take it it was human error and England thought the decision on the field was onside, once the game restarted from a free kick at nil nil why didn't he intervene or was he not watching the game.
