  1. That is a ludicrous decison. Boxing is getting to the point where not knocking your oponent spark out means you have no guarentee of winning.
  2. A sizeable portion of our electorate are fucking stupid. The problem is that they do not want to be reminded that they are fuckin stupid. They hold their stupidity close, and woe betide anyone who reminds them that their stupidity has given us Austerity light with a Lib/Con coalition, a self harming/self inflicted Brexit decsion enabled by a pig fucking Eton spiv, full fat austerity once the patsies had been removed, a pathalogical narcissistic liar and now another spiv who is so intent on lining the pockets of his rich friends that he would take a torch to what remains of our public services. This is why so many politicians find it hard to be honest. If they were truly honest, they would say it's your fault you fucking lunatic, you voted for this.
  3. What the fuck is wrong with some of you on here. Klopp has made clear his reasons for this decsion and the timing. Some of you soap watching cunts on here have nothing better to do than look for some ulterior motive for that decision. Given what he has done for this club, and the obvious depth of feelling he has for it, do you really think he would not have considered all the repercussions of his decision and made one that, in his opinion, was best for the club?
  4. I dont have a favourite genre as such and will listen to most music. Like most, some i like some i dont. Enjoying listening to Lets Eat Grandma (experimental pop) just now along with Marilyn Manson. Lets Eat Grandmas version of Nik Drake's "from the morning" is probably the only cover of his i can listen to (I'm a fanboyof his music). What you may find is by selecting a few of the recommendations on here and either listening right through or skipping, the streaming service will start to recommend others of a simliar ilk and before you know it you will be lsietening to stuff you enjoy.
  5. I think Villa will have an influence on who wins the league this year. They are very well organised and seem to have a fantatstic team ethic.
  6. If Cummings had a soul, you would have seen it leaving his body after that last line of questioning over Barnard Castle. Keith just murdered him.
  7. I watched him closely tonight. Always looking around the park to see where everyone is ready to move the ball where it is required. I think given enough game time he will be an excellent addition to the squad, Convinced Klopp has a plan for him.
  8. I can't see the stadium being completed as soon as we aould all like it to be. Any new contractor coming in will be asked to warranty and sign off on the project as a whole otherwise LFC administration will be unable to obtain insurance on it in future or be granted the requisite completion certificates. The new contractor should (if they are of the correct calibre) carry out due diligence on all elements of the works and if any anomolies arise, report their findings together with costs and timescales for remediation. As some have already said, if Buckingham Group were cash strapped, there is a distinct possibilty that specifications may well have been watered down and some of the remedaition work involved will be complex and expensive. Any new contractor will be ultra cautious signing off on others work, especially if there is any question over it's quality, therefore there is probaly an element of truth in that report unfortunately.
  9. As a Scotsman, I have to mention Olivia. "Donald where's yir troosers" and yae "cannae shuv yir granny aff a bus" is quite possibly the cringe monent of TV so far this year. To quote my Mum "she's geen ersel a rite showin up"
  10. No matter how many trophies the oil cheats buy over the next few years, they will never ever have an atmosphere like Madrid or Anfield. Empty trophies, empty fans and empty seats. This will never change.
  11. When i was working in Aberdeen, I stayed in a small town called Stonehaven. I am abssolutely shite at the round ball game but, due to an absence of able bodied alternatives, I was asked to play for the local pub team to make up the numbers. They had lost seven in a row and had yet to put the round thing in the net. I came on with 10 mins to go and scored with my first (and possibly only) touch of the round thing; a volley onto the bottom left hand corner, despite the intention of side footing it into the top right hand corner. I became a minor celebrity and was rewarded with a variety of female companions for a few weeks after.
  12. At 15 my mother used to fold my bedsheets with a claw hammer.
  13. Starmer, Davey and Blackford have now been given the opportunity to ridicule and humiliate not only Johnson, but the complicit members of a Tory goverment who have kept the most incompetent and dishonest prime minister in history in power. This is not just an open goal, the opposition have gone home, the referee has turned his back and the ball is on the goal line. Do not miss this chance.
  14. Call me cynical but, the windfall tax was always on the agenda for the Tories. The additional VAT revenue from fuel is being hoovered up by them and the excessive profits for the oil companies is being allowed in the knowledge that they will be asked to give some of it back. It will the be vomited all over the news and the right wing press will lap it up like the rabid dogs they are. The flag waving, blue passport holding, cerebrally challenged will have their reason to justify the treasonous behavior of their elected government. The carnage left in the wake of the delay will be forgotten.
  15. How dare these Spanish upstarts play this well in a semi final of the Champions League on their home ground. How dare they play us at out own game and press the living daylights out of us. I for one thought they would show us the respect we deserve and allow us just to stroll through to the final where we will inevitably win thirtyseventy nil.
  16. If you are referring to Boris's pubes, then almost certainly yes.
  17. He will not go until his party decide to revert to type and save their own skin. No one at Tory head office wants to inherit the absolute shit show that currently exists. (entirely of Boris and his odious friends making may I add). They will keep him in office until it is absolutely unfathomable (in their minds, not ours) how they can win an election with him in place. The Tories are playing genius level politics at the moment. The mention a few months ago of the letters to the 1922 committee regarding the vote of no confidence, was intended to send the message to the wavering few that it was all in hand. There was no way whatsoever that anyone was going to stick their head above the parapet and take the bullets that are currently aimed at Boris. Sunack tried briefly: that went well! The only caveat I would add is the Sue Gray Report. It may well be a leap of faith too far even for a Tory!
  18. Nah, that was because you were a house breaker was it not?
  19. So, in summary, we may or may not have signed him, he may or may not have been good for us and I may or may not give a fuck. I choose not.
  20. He has won 29 major trophies (which is more than the majority of the teams in the whole of the english league) including 2 champions league medals and 11 league winners medals, he is only 30 years old and we have won 100% of the matches in which he has played. Suspect fitness or not we are lucky to have him. He is a born winner!
  21. Have you considered dog fostering mate. My wife used to work for wood green (the one on the telly) and we used to do it. We always took the ones that struggled in kennels. It was hard at times letting some of them go, but its usually only for a few weeks and the information you can feed back to the rescue shelter helps them get better homes. I know it's ot for everyone but it is very rewarding.
