    VVD simply because he is so fuckin cool. When I was a young un, every single inch of the walls in my room were covered in King Kenny pictures from every conceivable magazine. My bed and doors had Panini sickers all over them and my school book covers had pictures of him selotaped to the inside cover (helped lessen the shame of the wallpaper colour!). If I were that age again I would be doing the same with VVD.

    He is every bit as good a human being as he is a footballer. We seem to have a large number of welll grounded players at our club right now. No egos despite the talent. Someone is making very good personnel choices. Only someone who shares those ethical standards is able to see it in others. If it were possible to be an even prouder Liverpool fan, I would be so right now. What a club.

    Just watched- Murder Trial: The Disappearance of Margaret Fleming, BBC2.(previously recorded) The first time cameras have been allowed into the high court in Glasgow. There is a sub reddit called "watch people die inside". There is a point in episode 2 where an English teacher from Ayrshire absolutely bitch slaps two defence barristers in a row and the look on their faces would qualify. Only 2 episodes but well worth a watch.

    I used to drink these regularly until I got myself and 2 scouse mates absolutley smashed on it whilst working at Sizewell. Drank so much of it we had to take the next day off in case we were randomly tested. The hangover was the worst I have ever experienced and I do believe it has been outlawed by human rights watch as cruel and unusual punishment. Still got some and have the odd one just to keep my eye in.

    Agreed. However i do not think that is the real issue here Stronts. You would have thought that given how these mining areas were treated by the tories, voting for them would have been beyond the pale. Surely any right thinking individual, be they labour , liberal or other would have voted with a conscience? No?

    I am genuinely torn. Part of me thinks that the gullible and intelectualy challenged who have elected the Village Idiot will get what they deserve and there is fuck all they can do about it for 5 years. On the other hand these imbeciles will be taking a sizeable amount of the poulation down the tiolet with them. Nothing good will come of this.

    This is my highlight of the decade. My youngest sons first ever game at Anfield and in his own words "best day of my life Dad". Everything else is a side show.
