  1. Soul destroying indeed. That's what the club has been doing to too many of us all for years, especially the last ten. The idea that the club owners and team management seems to think that they can just such blatantly ignore glaring problems with the defence is shocking, if not surprising unfortunately. Another summer wasted being very, very busy doing nothing yet again... It's this constant demonstration of unwillingness to sort out clearly visible, obvious problems that's a cancer running through Liverpool Football Club. The patient requires significant treatment.
  2. Whatever pissing about sakho did off the pitch it's not half as bad as: A) the pissing about this lot do ON the pitch and B) getting arrested for drunk driving when you get paid enough in a day to buy your own taxi firm And yet I too still believe that we're not going to get a better manager than klopp
  3. It makes sense...celebs die...our players think they're celebs...they play like it's their last match on planet earth and play like demons...celebs stop dying...players stop giving a fuck...
  4. The negativity spread at Christmas: Klopp saw his arse publicly when he saw we had to play against Sunderland 48 hours after City. At least one player latched on to this… “It’s not possible to play two games at a high level in the space of just two days, especially as the first one was such a massive game against Man City when we were running everywhere” he explained. “Physically, it was really tough. I don’t know why the fixtures are arranged like that. But I don’t want to talk about that. I don’t want to look for excuses.” That was Lovren - who didn't want to talk but did anyway... Coutinho form replicates last time we gave him a contract. He was great...we gave him a big new contract and his form fell off the shelf...just saying. Finally, yeah I agree Hendo man-of-match but he was woeful defending that corner that led to 1-0 as he wasn't even looking at the ball:-( check the footage it beggars belief. Lack of confidence is actually forgivable but lack of concentration for 90 fucking minutes is not.
  5. I know one thing, come Saturday night, we'll have been to hull and back...
  6. Totally agree with RedPaul (above). Klopp had to keep the positivity going amongst the team because that energy was transmitting to the players. They won all of the games over xmas and then sure enough Klopp played an unchanged side at Sunderland (as if to prove a point) and turned out he was right. I'm no psychologist but once you burst a bubble like that I reckon it's hard to get back. Throw in the disappearance of mane and lack of a solution and you've got a perfect storm. IMO
  7. I agree about Herrera. I dream of the day when the FA set up a panel to look at games and highlight snide little bastards like him and fine/ban them for it. It won't happen in my lifetime and even if it did they would have Gill and Taggart chairing it. Made up we didn't get beat, onwards and upwards now!
  8. When you take Mane, Coutinho, Matip and Henderson out of the starting line up, you might argue thats our best 4 players. We cannot play a high intensity pressing game with Lucas, Can, Sturridge in the team. Klopp has to then find a way of winning with this handicap. Thats not possible with this squad so I would agree we need reinforcements. The most important thing for me though is that this is not about Klopp. He is currently polishing a lot of turds and you only have to read back over the last couple of seasons to realise that. There is no better man out there for LFC so lets make sure that where ever we lay the blame its not at his door.
