    Of course it's tactical. The worry is keeping the same shape we've had but not getting too sucked into defending for a whole half.

    We've been smart about it. It's a final, we're not going to be able to dominate the ball against a good side that is desperate to get back in it. The pressing and defending has been good. We've stopped them from playing and they've had zero good chances. The counters really need to improve though because Spurs will ramp up the pressure and desperation.

    Some interesting developments in Ligue 1 as well. Andre Villas-Boas has gone to Marseille and Lyon have hired Sylvinho to be their Manager and Juninho to be their Director of Football.

    Good move for Serie A in general. Need more competitiveness at the top and Conte will bring that. Lots of movement in the league. Roma wll get a new coach, Juve will get a new coach. Milan want to transition into being a selling club in the style of Monaco and Lille. Big changes.

    By the way, Moussa Sissoko has pretty much unequivocally been their best player this season and will be one of our chief concerns as he can become like superman in big games. Just wanted to say as this is probably the relevant thread: credit to me for wanting us to sign him from Newcastle back in the day. Would have been immense under Klopp as well. You don't get that kind of foresight very often going against the grain like I did.

    I don't even think it would be an upset if Spurs win. When they're fit, their 11 matches ours pretty well.

    I rewatched a bit of the first season recently with my dad who has never watched the show and I forgot how graphic it is at the beginning compared to the later seasons. Tits in every episode, a lesbian scene and Emilia Clarke crying while getting railed multiple times. Bit awkward.

    Chelsea supporters don't deserve this at all. This moment is for Sarri who endured so much bullshit this season. Happy for him and he should leave them after this triumph with his head held high for a club that will appreciate him.

    I liked him because he fit the big, dumb, old school English centre forward stereotype so well. And I think he had some talent. Good left foot and unstoppable in the air which were useful but he doesn't seem like he had the drive to use those gifts correctly. The constant injuries are kind of a red flag on that end. Probably would've fared better in the 90's when everyone was playing 4-4-2 and were alcoholics. He would've fit in great in that era.

    It's pure false bravado. Anyone who has watched our recent matches with them knows it will be tight. Our respective league positions mean nothing as it's a one-off game with a 3 week break. Like us, they have a very good starting 11 with loads of athletes in midfield, a solid defense, difference-makers up front and they're extremely well managed. It's a tough match-up.

    I like @John102's moxy in these drafts. You always need one cocky fuck but who doesn't know what he's talking about but thinks he should be winning. Big boost to the entertainment value.
