    Worst "top" player ever?

Imagine getting knocked down by a jab.

    Nah, Villa have money.

Arsenal having to battle Villa for Emi Buendia is a real low point for them.

    Worst "top" player ever?

My dad said Ben Arfa was the best player he ever saw. Now he knew what he was talking about.

    Worst "top" player ever?

There are players who are inexplicably considered top players. Aubameyang and Willian come to mind. The former has probably never scored an important goal in his life. Willian was that guy everyone rated because he was a Brazilian winger playing for a team that won some trophies. Remember when people wanted us to sign him last summer? Yeah, that would have worked great. He had maybe 5 shots on target this season total.

    Other football - 2020/21

The Conte to Spurs thing always sounded completely ridiculous. Happy it's not happened.

I'm sure this was said with factual research and proof behind it like most of what you say.

We go through this every window. We used the money we have on Konaté and as for the rest of our activity, the club will deny we're interested in anybody until we sell people and get the money we need, and then we'll probably do something.

Why would you sell Tsimikas? What does that achieve? You can't quit on a player after one season because he was injured and because Klopp felt compelled to only play trusty Robertson during a rotten season. Also, having a right footed player like Hysaj on the left, who isn't that good technically, like say Milner was, would be a terrible idea.

    Wait for the sales first.

    Nathaniel Phillips

Not every defender. We largely need central defenders that can defend 1v1. Van Dijk, Gomez and Matip are all excellent at it and it's part of the reason you sign a 6 foot 4 athletic freak that can run like Konate. And as much as Phillips deserves credit and can absolutely stay if he wants to be nominally 5th choice, there are numerous examples of him looking quite stupid when players ran at him. If he was good at that along with everything else he does, we wouldn't have needed to spend big money on a CB, but we did.

    Coronavirus

I'm 26 and getting one of the mRNA vaccines, I have an appointment in two weeks, but it is true that it's experimental and there are holes to poke in them in terms of potential safety. If you do your research there are some genuinely questionable things about them that could theoretically bring about some issues. And it does worry me to an extent, but it is what it is.

Luis Campos, who built the great Monaco team and title winning Lille side is likely going to Nice. And they have a rich owner and are likely getting Galtier, the Lille coach. Don't be surprised if they become very good in a year or two.

    That as well, yeah. Likely.

Conte to Spurs just shows how big the draw of the league is. Spurs should be getting nowhere near someone of his calibre, yet this looks like it could really happen.

    Nathaniel Phillips

Can only be impressed by his emergence. Comes from out of nowhere to play well for Liverpool and bangs a famous musician's smokeshow daughter. Stuff of dreams.

    Youth Team/Cup

Possibly. He's played on the right for us and Blackburn thus far though, I think.

    Youth Team/Cup

Is he quite similar to Elliott? Be weird to have two of our best young players be right sided, left footed attackers.

We paid a decent fee for that Kaide Gordon kid. I imagine he's earmarked for the first team at some point.
