The vast majority of men don't go about hitting women. Of course we should talk about this stuff but the 'anti men' stuff is getting a bit out of hand IMO.

You're thinking of John Lennon.

I can confirm there will be excessive drinking.

I'm not one for speculating on behind the scenes stuff but I have a hard time reconciling Klopp being all in on Kabak.

It's usually just one player in January or something would have made a huge difference but FSG don't have the appetite for it & that's a major part of the reason loads of us think they are cunts. We don't want the club to throw money away like Chelsea but we also don't like the pishy excuses we get from men who are paid millions of pounds to sort recruitment & their lackies at The Athletic, every fucking window.

Any sort of mobile phone related noise on public transport should result in the electric chair. No second chances & no exceptions.

They are already toast. At this stage you just wonder how the next lot can be much worse.
-
I think they are genuinely the worst pair of trainers I have ever seen in my life.

Being shit is no deterrent to being financially successful in the music industry.

I think we need more pictures of Heidi Klum.

Konate was taken off for tactical reasons. He's fine.

I had loads of money because the pub was shut. What happened on 6th January? Was it not the week after the Atletico game everything was shut down?

Saw some footage of his US tour last year & it looked amazing. Having said that, I won't be paying those prices for tickets & he's not playing Scotland so he can do one.

I don't make a habit of reading The Telegraph BTW, someone posted that on another forum I post on.

1. I said 'Housing' crisis, not 'Homelessness' crisis. 2. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/03/10/foreigners-commit-up-to-quarter-of-sex-crimes/ 3. I said 'less secular'. Brainwashing children with any religion is a bad thing in my eyes & I'm someone who went to Sunday school as a child. 4. A very tiny minority of immigrants are a security threat 5. That seems like speculation on your part. Has there been no change in demographics in Southport (for example) over the last five years? 6. I'm not blaming immigrants for any of this stuff, I'm blaming the policies of the governments since the Brexit vote. If discussing numbers make no sense, it wouldn't matter if 50,000,000 people were coming into the country per month. Of course that's a huge part of the debate in my eyes, 700,000 people per year isn't sustainable when we have a load of psychopaths in power.

As long as Gakpo is on the left & Salah is down the right, we might as well stick a traffic cone through the middle for all the other three are worth at the moment* *I hope FSG aren't reading

Over 700,000 people (Net) coming into the country every year can't be good for the housing crisis. Immigrants from Afghanistan are 20 more times more likely to commit a sexual assault than a UK citizen, according to figures I read last week. Afghanistan wasn't alone in the report. We're becoming less secular as a country, when organised religion belongs in the dark ages IMO. National security is a concern, as you stated earlier in the thread. Such a large change in demographics over a short period will lead to hostility, which we saw an example of last summer. Universities are becoming too powerful, everything is about money now & they can make far more from a Chinese student than one who grew up next door. City centres are being whored out for student accommodation. As I've stated several times, I'm all for immigration. In fact I would say it's a great thing generally speaking but to say there are no negatives to such huge numbers coming in at the moment is pretty closed minded. I mean, how can 1.5 times the population of Liverpool arriving every year be sustainable? I think we need an open discussion about it at political level & I feel the numbers need to be brought down.
-
We're not having an argument though, we're having a grown up discussion about immigration but you seem intent on discussing racists & morons instead. Whether we like it or not, immigration is a very real issue at the moment, for a multitude of reasons.
-
Why is it impossible for a politician to say, 'Having a net figure of 700,000 people coming into the country each year is sustainable because of reasons a, b, c & d'?
-
I'm not saying it's negative at all, I'm saying it's too high.
-
As I said, I'm all for immigration but the net figure last year was over 700,000 people coming in, I don't think that is sustainable personally & if it is, the politicians should be explaining why it is.
-
That is precisely the point I've been making.
-
I'm not talking about racism, xenophobia or small boat crossings though. I'm talking about the actual number of people coming into the country each year, about infrastructure & about what @Jairzinho is saying. If people are becoming poorer & poorer and see this huge change in demographic over a short period of time, they are going to react negatively. This is why we need to have a transparent message from the politicians on what has become a make or break subject for them.
-
I'm all for immigration but perhaps not to the extent we are seeing at the moment. I don't think it is healthy for a number of reasons but then again, I'm just some dickhead in the street. I'm not even sure if my opinion is particularly sensible. The political class are the ones who need to be having a transparent conversation with the public about why immigration is so high & if it's to our benefit, they should be explaining why to fan the flames. Personally, I think it's generally about the bottom line, as usual.

Gakpo getting back to match fitness could be a big help heading into the final few games.
