So once, 34 years ago.
I remain unconvinced.

Are there any examples of players who we've had on loan who really worked out?
Loans are a kopout IMO, if we want a player, we should go all in & buy him.

If someone asked me to star in a film called Kung Fu Flid, I'd happily do it for expenses.

Not sure anyone is seriously writing them off. Just enjoying the fans losing their shit after 2 years of them talking like they created football like they used to under Wenger
Their support are fucking embarrassing, have been for years.

It's all very dramatic. Yes, they've dropped a few points but it's the start of November & they have big players coming back in.
I wouldn't write Arsenal off at this point personally.

I think his point was to support the players and ignore him. Ironically it seems, from afar, that this is now happening.
I know what his point was but it was not his place to tell the paying punters how to support the team in my opinion.

Nice wee change to have a new manager who inherits a great squad with a great mentality thanks largely to the previous fella’s achievements.I was not diminishing Klopp's achievements in any way but his moaning about the crowd singing certain songs was annoying.
We'll see if the squad is 'great' at the end of the season.

Nice wee change to have a manager who doesn't complain about what the supporters are singing.

Feminism is absolutely fucking nuts now, it's gone from 'We want equal rights' to 'Would you rather meet a man or a bear in the woods?'.
Probably doesn't help.

I was exaggerating to emphasise my point.
I wouldn't have the first clue how much players are scrutinised abroad or even at other domestic clubs.

Watched the Beetlejuice sequel, 'not impressed.
Other than Keaton, this was a complete waste of time & they completely overegged the musical numbers to the point where I was tempted to turn it off a couple of times nearer the end. 3/10

Sorry. No.
He's the leader of the "free" world who doesn't believe in climate change, therefore his policies won't take that into account. Stick your head in the sand all you want, but it's early November and the trees still have leaves on them. People are still mowing their lawns. Climate change is real and happening in front of us.
And I never said he will kill the planet, not did I say she would save it. However to ignore the clear and present danger here relating to an already warming planet is foolhardy. Still least you'll get a good tan.
Sorry if I'm being overly performative.
His policies are largely irrelevant. America is run by banks, weapons manufacturers, the gun lobby & the civil service. Not by some gobshite in the White House.

So you're saying we shouldn't be concerned that climate change denier is going to sit in the White Hose ignoring all the evidence presented to him as we all sit back and watch our planet die?
Cool. This is exactly what I mean about overly dramatic performative stuff.
'Donald Trump is going to kill the planet in the next four years, while Harris would have saved us all'.
The guy is a scumbag but who wins that daft popularity contest over there makes little difference in the grand scheme of things.

I said it before, and I'll say it again.
It doesn't make a blind but of difference who's in charge of the US, or any other democratic county, to a degree.
The country is run by civil servants and one person, coming in every four years can't exactly change much. It's a glorified popularity contest.
The world didn't end the last time he was in, and it won't end this time.
Don't worry your cotton socks about it
Spot on.
People over here getting themselves in a right state over this (usually in a typically performative online way) need to get a grip.

When he's aggressive with the ball & looking to make things happen, he looks a really fucking good player. I'd like to see him take more risks as he clearly has the tools.

I might get slated for this but Alonso gives me serious Arteta vibes as a manager. All that dancing about like a fanny on the touchline is not for me.
Leverkusen are welcome to him & their 4-0 hiding.

Came on after 80 minutes, played a part in two goals, and people are moaning.
Only a small minority is happy with him overall, but harping on about this 15 minute cameo being bad is just daft.
He gets scrutinised more than any player in the history of Football, it's absolutely nuts.
Apart from that one shitty pass after he'd skinned their midfield and ran the length of the park, he was good when he came on tonight.

First half was pretty dire, second half, quite the opposite. All the sloppiness vanished and was replaced with speed & intent. A joy to watch for the last half hour there.
Great to see City & Madrid taking beatings too.

I don't know, or want to know what half the stuff we see even means.
The Internet has turned people into complete fannies. Taking pictures of themselves, posting inspirational memes, going on about depression constantly, changing their avatar to whatever flag is trendy that week & arguing about gender benders like it's the most important thing going on in the World.
A lot of them need their WiFi turned off, the fucking gimps.
