  1. Does anybody on here even like Rangers? Anytime anyone mentions Celtic in anything other than a glowing light they get a load of Rangers stuff thrown in their face.

Both clubs & most of their supporters are fucking murder. Look at the way their sectarian poison infiltrates a Liverpool forum for evidence.

Bob Paisley would have hated pretty much everything about the modern game in my opinion, and would have wanted nothing to do with it. The money, players agents, the media commitments, the fact you could win the European Cup without first winning your league, PGMOL, the PL, ticket prices, pay TV, the game is unrecognisable from when he managed and I don’t think he would have been drawn to it at all.

Agree 100% & I'd put Shankly into that group with him.

  3. I was wondering why I'd lost a load of followers on Twitter and then noticed this, ya bastards.

Being serious, I don't blame people for sacking it off. I might do myself but I'll probably not bother my arse replacing it with another platform.

One or maybe 2 of the contracts sorted in January to deflect from signings.

Pity as the league is attainable.

I think that'll be the case.

The hope is we are lucky with injuries and Elliott/Chiesa can maybe give the squad a boost heading into darkest winter.

Is this going to be the defence of their man. He struggling with a drug addiction.

Bit weird how these videos are coming out now. He must of pissed someone off really bad recently.

I dont want the guy to have his life ruined..he shouldn't be involved in premier league games as he's completely undermined any decisions he makes in the future but he should still be able to ref somewhere.

    Outer Cambodia would do.

But this isn't censorship. It's an author and a publisher realising they've done the exact opposite of what they intended to do, and retracted the text. Which I think we'd both agree they should be free to do.

Yeah, I have no issue with that at all & the article I read (in The Independent) didn't go into nearly as much detail as the one Anubis posted.

I do stand by my initial point however.

I think Oliver's publishers did the right thing after dropping a bollock.

You can say it's just fiction, but when that fiction shows so little regard for a culture then it borders on racism. May as well go back to having Chinese characters called Ching Chong Chan if the defence is it's not real.

Is it not possible that an aboriginal child could be in foster care? I don't see why it's racist.

On your second point, personally I think if someone wants to call a Chinese character that in a fictional book, they're well within their rights. Everyone else is then within their rights to not read the book or think the author is a cunt.

Censorship of art is not a route I think we should be going down. Let's make some of it controversial & have open discussions about it.

Jamie Oliver had to pull his book from Australia as it had an aboriginal kid in it, then he stood outside Waterstones doing this.

(Only part of this is true).

Just read the story and it sounds like the Aboriginal people (or at least their spokesperson is) are upset that Oliver's children's book has depicted one of their children in foster care.

This is one thing that really bugs me. Regardless of who wrote the book, it is art, which came from their imagination & authors should not have to consult minority groups (or any groups) before they produce or publish art.

Don't like it, don't fucking read it.

It feels like it doesn't really take too much to fix a club that has money too spend. If he is a good manager and knows players, he will be backed to the hilt regardless. We lose VVD, Salah and Trent in one window we could be as fucked as they have been.

Aye but we're currently 13pts ahead of them with 11 matches played.

What you're doing is a bit like spending your whole life worrying about how you're going to die instead of just enjoying it.

  10. I was planning to go and see Kokoroko & Steve Gadd this month but I've spent all my money in the pub because I'm a fucking twat.

I do have a ticket to see Thee Sacred Souls in Glasgow though.

There's definitely echoes of Paisley's controlled amd measured football with Slot.

The one thing that worries me is that we've had such a strong start that if our results fall back a bit and we end up finishing a lowly 3rd he'll be getting stick for it, when I'm sure most of us would've taken 4th at the start of the season, new manager, no signings.

    Chiesa says hello.

Even after this, I don’t think Coote is corrupt or biased, I still think he is a very, very poor official.

It’s hardly he’s like he’s revered as the Premierships best referee and then is just absolutely shite for us. Granted, he’s had some shocking calls against us, he’s also had a lot of poor decisions for other clubs.

You genuinely don't think he's biased?

You think he's going to lose his job over this? Or be banned from reffing Liverpool games?

You've more chance of knitting fucking fog!

There is a absolute zero chance this bloke will ever referee another Liverpool game.

    None whatsoever.

Without wanting this to sound like a proper cunt, I genuinely hope he doesn’t top himself over this.

He’s obviously a fucking serious cocaine addiction and is going to be in a right fucking state now.

In what way is he obviously a serious cocaine addict?

He could well be on the charlie in that video but it's a bit of a stretch to state he's a serious addict on the basis of that.

    Liverpool 1 - Burnley 1, 11th July 2020. If you're wondering.

A few months later he'd be saying nothing about Pickford hobbling the best centre back in the world.

I dread to think how many times this piece of shit has done us over.

They protest about Gaza all the time but rarely gets mentioned in the media.

To be fair to the media, it's hardly news. The green brigade have been doing their 'Free Palestine' thing for at least 10 years.

  17. Let's look at the facts here, both Rangers & Celtic are followed by a huge amount of complete & utter bellends

If you see one of their jerseys coming down the street, it's generally a good time to cross the road.

Two cheeks of the same arse as folk say up here about the cunts.

The stupidity of it is that almost 100,000 Irish Soldiers died in WW1 and around 10,000 in WW2. It is not a remembrance of the troubles but a remembrance of both the insanity of war and the fight for a better future.

Be lucky if 5% of them are Irish or have even been to Ireland.

Getting really sick of these set peice coaching twats running round the side lines like they own the fucking place.

Watching Neil from the young ones in the Villa Technical area jumping up and down like the players are actually paying any attention to him was just bizarre.

All they need to do it tell the players what to do at set pieces before the game starts and at half time then sit down and shut the fuck up.

Same goes for the Arsenal prick aswell.

It is one of my favourite Norwegian bands from the 80/90’s as well, last time I saw them live was in 2006 and I was really looking forward to it.

Fuck TNTSports, there were loads of games they could have picked early today.
