'MAN ALIVE' when Dembele nutmegged one of our players was a personal favourite. I'm sure he was half cut last night. -

PSG (A) - CL Round of 16, 1st leg, Wed 5th Mar 2025 (8:00pm)

Been a long night but I thought the joke was fairly obvious. -
Szoboszlai done his usual donkey work tonight but he looked a bit like he'd never seen a Football before. Mac Allister was nowhere & Gravenberch seemed to tire badly before passing the ball straight off the park & being hooked. Endo & Jones came out of it with a bit of credit but that midfield needs bolstered in the summer, Elliott should be nowhere near it.

No idea what to say about that other than Alisson was out of this World, absolutely amazing. Hats off to the substitutes too, all of them made a difference. A lot of work to do here though, that is the most I have seen us battered like that since the horsing in Naples, although they somehow didn't manage a goal. They are a fucking good side. -
'We have the best & most popular sport in the World. I know, let's come up with a couple of ideas every year to make it a bit shitter.' Why?

I'm with you, still a lot of hard work to be done.

If we set up like we did at City, I hope we can keep the ball a bit better this time. The lad they signed from Napoli is a serious player too, would have loved us to have been in for him. -
I didn't realise it was that big. Are they liable to sell that out every other week?

My surname is Elliot, which is why I always notice. Harvey's is Elliott. -

What's with everyone spelling Elliott wrong? -
I'm not a Tom Hanks fan, I much preferred him in family things like The Burbs & Big back in the 80s. I don't think he's suited to the more serious roles & there's something a bit squeaky clean about him, can't quite put my finger on it but he bugs me.

I'm a bit funny with The Kinks, love Autumn Almanac & a handful of other songs but can take or leave most of their other stuff. Not sure why either. I played some of their stuff in a covers band and it was good fun to play. I reckon they had enough bitter arguments within the band without the rest of us joining in anyway. Used to love playing this one...

You took about a week to answer my question & all your research has managed to bring up is a tune which doesn't qualify in terms of what I asked (I clearly stated a studio recording, this was performed live at a BBC Session & wasn't released until years after Hendrix died). Looking at your post, it appears you hadn't even heard it, which again only goes to prove my point about your astonishing levels of ignorance.

That'll be the owners fault as well. Probably had them on steroids & protein shakes watching Rambo films on repeat.

Not for me that. Klopp was an unbelievable manager but he was paid handsomely in his time at the club & decided to hand in his notice. The money should have stopped the day he left. If the club fancy dishing out gifts, how about cheap/free tickets for local kids rather than throw money at a multi millionaire.

The dog was diagnosed a nihilist last year so has most likely killed them both then turned the gun on himself.

If we win the league, the last things I will be thinking about are points totals or fucking Arsenal. I'll be far too busy celebrating all Summer.

I was watching a video of a pit bull which had been professionally trained to protect this wee boy & it was predictably great at its job in various scenarios but then I read the comments & it was all these thick as shit dog owners going, "See, these dogs are our best friend." & "Look, they love children.". Slight problem folks, not everyone who owns a potential killer dog is a professional dog expert or trainer & neither are the vast majority of people the animal will come into contact with. Winds me up no end. Absolutely no need for Joe Public to be able to own these things in exactly the same way people aren't allowed to keep fucking tigers domestically.

I feel the same about Ana De Armas & Jennifer Lawrence.

The scene in French Connection where he clocks the girl on the bike's purple boots and starts following her in his car is fucking priceless. Can't find it on YouTube unfortunately.
