I went for an interview last week & found out tonight I got the job. 20% pay bump as well, nearly injured myself celebrating when I got off the phone. It's felt like everything has been falling apart for the last three years & that's the first bit of really good news I've had on a personal level since my kids were born. Sometimes life is OK.

To be fair, both sides are about as bad as each other for being offended & throwing about ridiculous words like 'gammon' & 'woke'.

I've no idea why anyone would want to go out on a night out & drink juice, unless you're driving. I've done it once & lasted about 90 minutes, it was fucking awful. My drinking is bad these days, when the kids aren't around at the weekend, I'm going on 3 or 4 day benders, getting up in the morning half pished & going straight to the boozer. it's doesn't feel self distructive either as I always have such a good laugh when I'm out but it's proper binge stuff & takes me about four days to recover fully.

We're never signing anyone from Newcastle anyway. No way they would sell to a rival when they're so much wealthier than us. In the summer we should be looking for a new left back, a new striker & better options in defence/midfield.
