It's the green.  Green shirts always remind me of the 90s dross that was served up on the pitch.  They should have done this one in yellow and red, and with a proper Liverbird as you said.

Aye, agreed. Get the green to fuck.

Kinnell stig lad, your taste in kits is equal to your taste in music!  That one truly is the Oasis of footy kits!

What's wrong with it in your opinion?

Other than the colour, the badge & the sponsor, it looks pretty good to me. If that was white with black trim (or yellow with red) & the proper Liverbird badge, it would be spot on IMO.

Don’t you think its a bit weird trying to compare someone from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s with someone 50 years later.

The world have seen some gigantic development since. Who knows how Shankly would have been seen through the eyes of the internet and social media, and how do we know how he would react to the money following todays football, all the media and everything else.

Aye, it is a bit weird (I did say I would never compare them) & I like to think Shankly would have hated the way Football has gone.

  4. They're all bellends, Mo Salah, Declan Rice, all of them.

Can you imagine anyone with any sense of fucking reality or decency sitting on a throne in the middle of a Football pitch to announce their new £400k per week contract during a massive cost of living crisis? No, me neither.

  5. I'm very right handed, which is shite as my right hand is fucked with dystonia so I can't drum & stupid stuff like brushing my teeth & spreading butter on toast is really awkward.

Before anyone asks, yes - I can smash one off no problem.

What I think people like me are missing most is Kloppo‘s personality, positivity and humanity. We have gone from a South West German man of the people who we could relate to easily; who got us and got the city. Kloppo is also a great user of the media and wasn‘t slow in using it to the club‘s (and his own) advantage. Slot is almost the exact opposite; almost the archetypical dour dutchie. Klopp was the nearest thing to Bill Shankly I have experienced and I loved him and Kloppo to bits. Having said that I believe that out best ever manager was Bob Paisley, and it took us a season or two to warm to Uncle Bob. Behind the criticism of Slot is the fact that we compare him to Klopp as a person and our judgement of his performance is therefore somewhat clouded.

Who would you imagine most enjoying having a few pints with, Jurgen or Arne?

The love for Klopp is great but I never quite got on board with it myself. I was never happy about his criticism of the crowd & his whole socialist thing kind of goes out the window when he's doing adverts for beer & holidays every five minutes, along with this Red Bull pish & the fake hair/teeth. I liked him but I'm not going to hero worship or deify him.

Don't get me wrong, he was a charismatic bloke & probably the best manager in the World over the last 15/20 years but I would never compare him with someone like Shankly, who lived a humble life (certainly in comparison) & brought the club from second division mediocrity to become one of the most feared sides in Europe.

Slot is his own man, we don't need him to be Shankly, Paisley or Klopp, if he wins without charisma & soundbites, then I'm happy with that & other people should be able to make their peace with it too.

I reckon a few of us know people who live in Palestine and/or Israel, to be fair.

I'd guess most of us know at least one woman so if that's the parameter we're working to in the context of 'directly impacted' then yes, we are directly impacted by this.

Other than who points on the internet, has todays ruling directly impacted any of you?

It could potentially impact a lot of people in Scotland, not me directly but I have a passing interest.

I don't think the war in Palestine directly affects anyone on here either but there's a thread to discuss it, which is kinda how forums work.

I know who I would rather believe.

What do the rest of the bullet points say though? Just looking at No.2 there, it would appear that absolutely nothing happened today so it doesn't make sense that it is the country's top news item & The SNP are backtracking on their pish.

I've not followed what the SNP has been up to, but trans rights campaigners have long been aware of the inadequacy of the Equality Act, which protects people who are transitioning from discrimination, but not people who have already transitioned.

They were trying pass legislation to say people who were born as men and then transitioned could be protected as women. Which they now can't because as per today's ruling, they are blokes.

My cats are killing machines and love to bring their prey home. It's been a constant pain in my arse as long as I've had them, like no cats I've ever known, but hopefully... no more.

I've bought myself an AI enabled video cat flap.

It knows when they arrive at the door with something in their mouth and won't unlock. Take that you pricks.

So far I've not turned that facility on, while they get used to the new door (especially Sam, the dope, who hated it for 3 days until last night).

But from tomorrow, that should be our last indoor rat, pigeon, mouse, screw, vole or bat. Yes, fucking bat.

Dear God I can tell you a pigeon bleeds a lot.

For now, enjoy my ring doorbell for cats rogues gallery.

Ha ha, Dusty brought a live bat in once. I was like 'What the fuck is that?' as it hid in a corner of the stairs.

I don't miss that about them as it was always me who had to get the beasties out the house.
